Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Gun! I must say out of all the rifles that i have bought this one takes the cake. definately worth the money and it can last a long time which is another good thing. i jsut wish the psitol could measure up to it tho and nt be too much of a hassle to reload. but over all it is a very good gun i would definately recommend this gun to someone else! Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great beginner/amateur AEG This is a HK416/M416 AEG with a 300-340 FPS velocity. It comes standard with a 250 Mid Cap M4/M16 style magazine. For anyone wondering, any Low, mid or high capacity M4/M16 mags WILL fit this gun. Now, down to the gun itself. It is made hardened polymer plastic which is lightweight but durable at the same time. The two heavy parts of the gun are the Fully loaded magazine and the stock with the battery in it. it has 4 sided R.I.S rails for mounting accessories. ( I have a Red dot reflex sight and a plastic grippod on the bottom.) Both Irons sights are flip down and the back one is adjustable. This package came with a one point sling for carrying the weapon. The battery isnt the greatest but you get what you pay for. This weapon also has an adjustable hop up on the right side of the weapon. I personally think this weapon is excellent for Mil-Sim look but also has many practical features. I also suggest purchasing a warranty for this weapon Rifle Pros- Durable Lightweight Uses AEG M4/M16 mags Has R.I.S Looks great Great Ironsights Good feel when shooting it Jams are very unlikely if you oil the barrel and clean the weapon after each use adjustable hop up Cons Not the greatest battery can break because it is made out of plastic Stock was a little loose, which made it wobble a bit MK23 USP Handgun This a U.S Special operations command (SOCOM) handgun. It is spring, fires 275 FPS from a 25 round magazine. This weapon has a high capacity mag of 25 rounds, and serves very well as a backup weapon (I have mine in a holster on my vest). This is a great "in a pinch" weapon to use to down a target at 10-30 ft. Pros Great sidearm High ammo capacity looks great accurate Cons The slide was a little wobbly Spring powered no locking slide Overall, I think that if you are a beginning airsofter or an experienced one looking for a good option, look no further that here. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic it is perfect works great can break but most guns this price or lower do i recommend for beginners and obviously be careful and don't drop it a lot but it is overall pretty fantastic December 5, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by You get what you pay for in Airsoft This gun has a very low cost at only $90 when I bought it. It's just that though. In airsoft you usually see the bottom line price of what went into the gun. I got this as a primary for my little brother when he was joining me for a day of airsoft. We got it the morning of so we were in a rush. It comes with everything you need for skirmish ready yet slightly competitive play I would look into a higher fps gun and not in a general sports store. Gun comes with small bag of bbs, spring pistol, Automatic Electric Gun 416, 7.2 volt battery at 600 or 800 mah, and a sling for the gun. The pistol it comes with is well weighted, stronger plastic and shoots relatively accurate at about 30 feet. It's larger so it was slightly difficult for my 15 year old brother's younger friends to handle yet it's a decent side arm. The Scar or hk16 has a nice rail system for additional accessories to be mounted on and the sights are probably better than what you see on cheap guns like these. I personally love crane stocks because they're larger for more points of accuracy when firing the gun yet this gun has little kick so it's almost unnecessary. I would suggest running an 8.4 or even 9.6 through this gun yet never long bursts on full auto due to the build quality of the gun. The second weekend I took the gun out it had some firing issues (bb's were falling at about 20 feet with a full charged battery). We took it back and got it replaced no problem because of the 1 year plan we bought with it. The second gun has had no issues after multiple skirmishes and a couple days out at the field. This gun is good for backyard play and if upgraded with a stronger battery some cqb play. Good for a beginner that doesn't need to spend a lot of money. April 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great gun, and Great buy I've only used it a couple times but it hasn't disapointed me yet.....I see a good future for me and this gun! Great for a beginning airsoft player January 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Too pricey... but good gun R0CKER here... Here is the HK416 combo w/ a Mk23! This gun is a plastic/polymer combination making it light-weight and durable for a beginners' gun. Obviously this is a great gift for the airsoft fan in your life but please consider their age level and where you live. Check your local legislature before purchasing! About the HK416, based on the AR-15 platform, quad-tactical rail over the barrel allowing for additional customization i.e. lasers, flashlights, rail grips, etc. This gun is easy-firing, takes about 5 hours for a complete charge which should last you over 8 hours #if playing for a long time#. The HK416 has a plastic stock which tends to loosen up over time because the battery is located centrally-within the stock. This magazine only holds 25 rounds... which means a very small capacity. It also only has a 275 FPS range which means that is has low range and minimal accuracy. This gun is merely a pea-shooter, good for hitting pop cans along a fence. The gearbox that powers the BB through the weapons' receiver tends to break easily after about a years' worth of use so BUY THE WARRANTY! Good gun for starters, great gift! I recommend it only for use of individuals 13+ years or older. Thanks and see you again on my next reviews of DSGs airsoft guns!!! February 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing AEG I went to Dick's, saw these guns, and purchased them. I went home, unpackaged them, and I just have to say how deadly the 416's accuracy is. For 100 bucks, this gun was a steal.A little piece of the mag chipped however, so the mag doesn't hold in anymore, so it's trash. But hey, spring airsoft pistols aren't that good anyway. The only complaint I have about the gun is tha the adjustable stock is wobbly. While running with the gun, the sound of it annoys me, but its nothing to fret over July 8, 2013
