Great Starter The bike is great for my 7 year old. The only issue is that it is hard for him to shift. I have to shift it for him. March 4, 2013
do NOT buy Horrible shifter! My 8 yr old was unable to gear down...it was hard for me to turn the gears as well. It's a known issue with blogs and forums everywhere about it. Top quality pre-teen bike Great bike, easy to assemble and only slight adjustment to dérailleur needed out of box. Hard to find featured in most big box stores, including 6-speed to learn shifting. 20" perfect for 8 yr old rider. Under $180 shipped, and delivered 2 days early just in time for Xmas. Thanks Dick's!
