Rated 1.9 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't waste your money We bought this set for our three girls. Within two weeks of purchase, it is unusable. One of the anchor spikes that secures the pole was missing from the package. We were able to find another one from another yard game, so we were able to get the entire set assembled. Two weeks later, the one spike that did come with it broke, as many other reviewers have reported. I have searched all over for replacement parts, but can't find any. A complete waste of a hard earned $80. Dicks should pull these from their shelves and send them back to the manufacturer based on all these poor reviews. If I could have given this set 0 stars, I would have. June 25, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not great The instructions are horrible!!!!!!!!! It took me a long time to read and re-read the instructions. This product is only understood by the person(s) who designed the product. Most of the comments that I have read are negative and rightly so. April 24, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product is for the vertically challenged This product is designed for little kids only. The poles are only 5ft high. Quality of components is shaky. This will be a disposable product. Don't think it will make it to next summer. do not buy. July 16, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible Piece of junk. Instructions are impossible to follow. July 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good set - confusing directions Good quality net and poles but the directions are very confusing. July 8, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by SO dissapointed!!! This net look promising... However, 1st of all, they might as well have not even included the instructions because they were no help whatsoever. My dad can usually set up everything and anything, but even he struggled with no instructions. In addition, all of the pieces of hardware for the net were garbage, the screws were stripped, the hooks didn't fit into the net properly, it was all around just a bad net. I'm sure if the hardware was good, and we were able to set it up, it would be a good net, however I don't think many people who have bought this net have gotten to that point. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this net! July 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Would recommend We purchased this product for our elementary aged children to play volleyball and badminton. They have loved it and so have we, the parents. The product has a good quality net and very durable. There are 3 cords that connect into the ground to keep solid stability and a tight straight net. It is well used by the children and neighbor children Great size for a suburban backyard as volleyball and badminton. Needs about 2 - 3 extra feet past net size for the 3 cords spread which are inserted into the ground. July 7, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Waste of Money I purchased this badminton set with the thoughts that more expensive is better. The pole spike broke before we even had the game set up. I got a new pole spike and set up the net. It was just ok. Hard to get the net to stay tight. Then we left it up one night and it was on the ground in the morning. The pole spikes broke again. I plan to return this item, but don't have a box. They better not give me a hard time. June 26, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Review Product Purchased Product must be returned because the poles on the net do not fit together. June 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Product seems fine if you can get it together. Diagrams don't match up with the actual product in the directions, which is annoying but not so detrimental that it stops you from setting up the net. Some of the diagrams, however, are downright confusing with poor wording to explain them - especially when it attempts to tell you how to use the Tensioner Pieces. For one, it labels 3 different pieces as a "Tensioner" - and then doesn't clarify exactly which one it means for you to use at that moment. It then attempts to describe a knot which, to be quite honest, I have no idea if I even have it done the way it was telling me to, and that was after trying to decipher the silly thing for 15 minutes. However, after bumbling through the directions, the net seems to be sturdy (and it might not even be setup properly), the Raquettes decent, and the birdies look good as well. I don't like that the stakes are made of plastic, however, so I dropped some of the quality for that. They're likely to need replacing within a year or two, and given the price of this set, I would think that it's meant to last longer than that.Didn't set up the guidelines yet for the foul line, but after how long it took to set up, I say screw the rule, I have badminton.
