Rated 1 out of 5 by Rich far too flimsy given the price
I didn't expect Dick's to carry such low quality products. The tubes are quite thin, and the top of one of the plastic mounting stakes (these plastic stakes are supposed to support the main poles) sheared off purely from the weight of the pole - we hadn't even applied tension to the net yet.
Basically, you're buying a net and a low-end set of raquets and shuttlecocks. You'll need to come up with your own solution for mounting poles.

I purchased this set after buying one at a local discount store for $20 that lasted less than 2 weeks. The rackets are a little better quality and the net & poles are about the same as the discount set. It seems this should not cost almost $50. I did not see anything else offered by Dick's or elsewhere that gave me a combination of quality and price. My concern is that the grips on the rackets may not last through a family outing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Baby Bird We had a blast! Hours of Fun!
My friends have started meeting annually in Columbus, OH and one Saturday morning we got an "itch" to play badminton! This set was the last in the store and the minute we got it home we started setting it up. We broke off into to teams for set up and within a half hour we were "whacking" away and laughing at how bad we were!
The directions are a bit sparse but a tip; once you are ready to stake the net poles into the ground, just stake them and SLIDE the yellow plastic tension guides up and that will secure the poles, do one side first, then the other. You will be playing in a heart beat. It was up for 2 days and the net nor the poles sagged!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dave Decent with work
Pros: Net poles seem sturdy enough, rackets are good for the price of the set, fairly simple setup.Cons: missing parts and since I am an hour away from point of purchase I had to work it out. After 90mins of use 2 out of 3 shuttlecocks are broken but they are fairly cheap anyway. Net is kinda low for grown ups but great for kids. Overall decent for the money but took a little extra effort and money to make it so.
