Rated 5 out of 5áby Perfect ! Its good and simple. Perfect for walkers and it does not reset easily with that button by mistake. You have to hold reset button to reset, which i liked a lot April 7, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby This pedometer does what it says I purchased the Sportline 340 for my exercise walks during lunch. This one is small, quick and easy to set-up, not bulky, stays put on the waistband, and most of all accurate. September 9, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby Product required replacement within 2 weeks of purchase I purchased this simple $20 pedometer to help me track steps, distance, and time. Love the clip feature and how the product flips up so you can easily read your progress. The clip holds well, doesn't easily fall of like some others. The device is small, discreet, so it's worn fairly well under clothing (i.e. clipped to your pants but under a blouse or other top. It also seems to be a very sensitive device, which is great - I don't feel like it's "missing" any of my steps, which is a problem with other, less expensive "promotional giveaway" type pedometers. So when it's working, it works great. Problem is, the battery seemed to die on it a couple weeks after I purchased it (I wore it daily during that time). I switched the battery, thinking that was the problem, and everything worked fine again. But just a couple days later, the device died again. I took it back to the store and they exchanged it for a new one. It's only been a few days since I've had the new one, so I'm not sure if there will be a problem again. Again, when it's working, it works great! Maybe I just received a lemon the first time? August 21, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby Not really what I was looking for I was looking to replace a pedometer that I lost. I was looking for something that I could wear all day and keep track of my daily steps. This pedometer is WAY too sensitive for that. As much as I would love to believe that I take 17000 steps a day, I don't think that is very accurate. April 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby All you need to know on a thumbnail! Inexpensive, digital pedometer that produces all the data you could wish for on such an instrument; it's about as big as your thumb and the read-outs are clear and sequenced well. The only down-side, if it can be called such, is that the categories (miles/steps/etc. are extremely small and difficult to read....at least for me. Once programmed, the data is readily available. Only three buttons to contend with. November 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5áby Would not purchase again The first one I had did not work right, and Dick's let me exchange it very easily. I loved my second one so much that when I left it somewhere (after one week of wearing it all the time) I went and bough a new one within a day. Unfortunately then I discovered it has a major flaw. Most people buy a pedometer to wear all day to measure their total daily steps. It turns out that some at least, including this one, picks up the motion in the car and adds hundreds of steps very quickly giving you entirely wrong numbers. There is no pause button on it so you have to track your steps before you get into the car and reset it after you get out of the car and start all over. If you are just going out for a walk and want to measure just that it is fine, but for all day it is not. May 20, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5áby Boost your ego, not your fitness. If I could give this zero stars, I would. I've been conducting a pedometer accuracy test, wearing the Sportline 340 next to two other pedometers, and this thing counts butterfly wing flaps as steps being taken. Take it out of the package in the parking lot and put it on my belt? That was 17 steps. Drive home? 321 steps. Sit at my desk for half an hour? 157 steps. Don't eat a carrot. Don't pass gas. Don't shake my hand, that's going to jack your step count, adding tremendously to the total steps. After three days and 22 miles, the total amount this little gem overcounted my steps: 14,249. That's roughly 7 miles, overcounting my effort by more than 30%. I can't return this thing fast enough... July 24, 2014
