Rated 5 out of 5 by Buckman1 Great External Frame Backpack I can not give a tried review as of this writing due to the fact I have not used it yet, but I can tell you that for the price you can NOT go wrong if you want a true backpack that has many, many features that you might find on a $200 - $300 pack. This pack has plenty of separated pockets, along with many different ways you can adjust the pack to custom-fit to your size and comfort. Don't hesitate to purchase this pack! July 27, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Llippert Excellent pack for the price I took this pack on a 3 day hike in the Teatons. I carried 50lbs for over 7 hrs each way. The pack worked perfectly and is top quality. My only disappointment is with the waist belt tightening system. It is very very hard to adjust the waist belt with the pack on. There are much better strap systems available that would cost the manufacturer nothing, but they chose a horrible solution instead. Why? July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by cberney Excellent Pack This pack feels so good when I wear it. I really like the external frame verses the internal frame. It's adjustable frame allows for a custom fit. Would recommend this pack to everyone. July 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by EB Good pack Bought this for my first backpacking trip. I am 5'2" and it fit very comfortably. My husband (who is 5'10") strapped it on for awhile and it was comfortable for him, too. It is easily adjustable. There are a ton of pockets and it seemed very durable. I was able to fit everything I needed in it and strapped my bed roll to the top. May 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by gsoule seem to have found what i was looking for Seems to be perfect for my first class boy scout first hiking sleepover trip on Memorial Day weekend May 14, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Vik Taking it back I will see if the store honors its 90 day no question asked return policy as the waist band buckles have disintergrated. Not a good sign that field and stream - whom I bought all my equipment from in my backpacking days are as good as they used to be May 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hank Does the job Purchased this for my son's scouting trips. He can manage the pack well, and has ample space for gear. Very happy with it thus far. April 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by hunter moose hunt I bought this for my wife, for a moose hunt in Newfoundland that we hunted 9-16-13 thru 9-21-13. the pack served her well, and we were both successful. September 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by TommyG This pack is durable and comfortable This pack is my favorite of all of the ones I have owned. I'm really hard on things, so that's a pretty extensive list. This pack is fairly big when considering the internal bag space, but when considering the usage of the frame it gets considerably larger. I am a trail guide and need to carry a lot of stuff. I can strap a sleeping system, tent, shovel, axe, and fishing gear on the outside while still maintaining access to the front compartments and external pockets. I overload this thing every time I go out, yet this pack holds true and stays with me on even the toughest trips. If I ever break this pack (which I expect I will at some point) I will be buying another one. September 5, 2013
