Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent bat for youth baseball This bat is weighted nicely for young players developing their swing. Our son can hit solid grounders and line drives with it, and merely needed to choke up a little to get it around quickly. The bat will likely last two or three seasons, because it is long and heavy enough to go in several youth baseball leagues. April 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by did not make it through one coach pitch batting practice On the first day he used this bat, he was at practice and the coach was just lobbing in some pitches for batting practice. The bat now sounds like a christmas jingle bell. There is so much loose metal inside the bat that it is very distracting. I know a little bit of jingling is common in an aluminum bat over time but not this much and certainly not this much on it's first use from bp. I don't dare let him use it in a game. He hates to use it in bp because of all the racket it makes. It does come with a one year warranty so I will be returning it. The bat was one of the cheaper ones so I guess you get what you pay for. The only brand of bats we have had any luck with over the years is Easton, so we'll go back to that brand I suppose. August 30, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bat bends very easily!!! Like others have reported in these reviews, the bat bends easily. We have used it for a few practices and about 13 games. Only an 8 year old has swung this bat! No adults have used it. We just noticed it was bent. Who knows for how long! Not even worth going through the warranty hassle. August 29, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bent after a few games Do not buy this bat! After only a few games the bat bent in the middle, just above the grip. August 7, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Kid bat I think it was a great price for an 8 year old baseball bat. Seems to have good pop. We will see. July 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Once, But Twice My Dad bought this bat in January of this year for my little brother to use in Little League. The bat seemed like it had a lot of good pop to it and my brother hit some good rips with it, but as a former high school baseball player and now little league coach I have never seen a bat just bend like this one did when my brother hit the ball. At first I could understand maybe why it bent the first time because he took a lot of swings with it from the off season hitting in the cage to the regular season batting practices and games. It lasted him about till the 7th game of the season when it bent in the middle of a game. We sent the bat back to the company because it was still warrantied and they sent us back a replacement. The replacement bat had engraved right on the barrel, "NO WARRANTY". My brother then used the bat in one game and then the next day at practice it bent. What a piece of junk. Now we have a bent bat that we can not return to Dick's or the Company and because the season is almost over my Dad does not want to buy my brother a new one that he could out grow. The only option we had was to clamp the bat down and force it back into place, so now it is a little bit back to normal. I have never used a Worth bat before in my career, but my recommendation is that you do not buy this bat or any type of Worth bat at all, because you will just end up with an expensive piece of scrap metal. Rated 1 out of 5 by Incredibly poor I have never seen in my 15 years of coaching baseball a bat bend like this one has. After two uses within the FIRST AND ONLY WEEK of use it was literally warped! This was by my 11 year old, who is NOT Schwarzneger or the Incredible Hulk! He did not abuse it by bending it, hitting anything else but a baseball, or playing sword fighting which kids may be known to do. After he went up to bat during his second game of use I looked up there and certainly thought my eyes were deceiving me, but then the umpire and my first base coach noticed it also and no one noticed anything peculiar when he first stepped to the plate or made his first few swings. He did foul one off but nothing unusual. I'm sending it back and hopefully will be joyfully refunded. June 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not so much. We got this just about a month ago and it's already bent. Not a good purchase. June 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worthless pretty much We had the same experience as others with this bat. Only used a few times and it's warped. What a waste of the little money we have to spend on purchases like this. And I'm sure we can't return it. Disappointed to say the least. June 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by junk my son hit the ball bout 15 times and bent the shaft right in front of the grip now I have to go through the warranty stuff now June 8, 2013
