Rated 1 out of 5 by JMom 3 practices later and a dent
Could be defective but after 3 batting practices (indoor) the bad has a nice dent in the barrel. Not sure how that is possible but it happened. Of course it would be alot easier to replace at Dicks but I guess policy is to return to manufacturer. Just hope I get a refund cause I dont want another one. I got my son a nice easton bat that he is definatly liking alot better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CoachTom Great for my little Single A ball player
I recently bought this bat for my son who is playing Single A little league (machine pitch). It is a well balanced bat and the ball really takes off. There are composite ones like this but twice the price. I considered the more expensive one for a moment but am very glad I chose this one. Highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Froggy Just as good as the more expensive bats.
The price of this bat was competitive. I was looking at the more expensive bat but was wondering how fast my son would grow out of it. My son likes it and now is ready for the next season.

My son used this bat ONE time and it is riddled with dents. If you are looking for a good bat this is NOT it. He has gotten more use out of a Walmart special than this "name brand" junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by juice mans dad Demarini stands for dents
I bought this bat for my 9 year old last year. 70 bucks for a bat that is dented from a 65 pound kid. Demarini has impressive reputation but stay away from this one. Hoping to buy a better bat that wont vibrate so much and dent so easily. Big disappointment. Gonna go look for my Dicks proof of purchase to return it now. Looks like you gotta spend over 100 dollars for a good bat. What a shame when kids grow so fast!

My 8 year old coach pitch baseball playing son used this bat in his 1st 3 games. The bat worked really well for him. However, after the 3rd game while placing it back in the bat bag, I noticed a very significant dent in the barrel. While my son does get some good hits, he is certainly not smashing the ball hard enough to dent the barrel.
Huge disappointment. Obviously poor quality if the bat cannot within 3 games of a single batter on coach pitch. Will try to get my $ back or this exchanged for something else.

After my son's 2nd game, I noticed huge dents in the barrel, I asked him if he was hitting something with it and he said "no" this just happened after my last hit. He is 7 years old hitting off a pitching machine...this has never happened with any bat I have ever bought...unfortunately we bought two of these as I have twins...these bats are garbage!!!!

Bought this bat for my 7 year old. He is a decent size kid and all but does NOT swing hard or anything. 8 games into the season this bat is completely worthless. There isn't a place on the barrel that ISN'T dented. And these are not small dents either, it is literally caving in and basically square. Sure it isn't a high dollar bat compared to some, but it isn't exactly the cheapest either. I would give it zero if I could. Completely worthless and will likely never buy another DeMarini moving forward. Junk. Complete junk.
