Rated 3 out of 5 by tomf plyo not The wood is real nice but the edges are not rounded, so if you hit the edge you will cut open your shin like I did. The screws can come out the top if you use a cordless drill when you assemble it which will also injure you. I am returning mine. June 27, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Alan Difficult to assemble While thus far we've made adequate use of the box, the pre-drilled screws from the sides didn't actually bite into the top well or at all. So, I had to go find my own screws (8) and put them in from the top. This may distract from the aesthetics for some. Furthermore, there's no foot pads for the bottom, so if your trying to use on a smooth floor, you'll need to add your own foot pads, appropriate floor covering - e.g., a rubber exercise mat, or use against a wall to prevent slippage which, depending on the exercise your doing, could prove very dangerous, While at the low end of the cost spectrum for plyo boxes, it's still pricey for what is, in the end, a fixed height trapezoidal wooden box that needs you to supply the screws. While I'm checking 'no' on the recommend box, were it available, I'd choose 'maybe', as for some users, this item may suffice. May 3, 2014
