Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 84 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great GPS watch! I had considered a Garmin in the past but they've always been so big, bulky and intimidating that I just went without. Finally they got it right! I love this watch, have had it a little over a month. I use it on every run and so far here are my thoughts. Size: Is perfect for me I have small wrists Battery life: Not the best, up to 5 hrs in GPS mode or 2 weeks if used as a regular watch. I only use it for running and yes it lasts me about 5 hrs. Ease of Use: Super easy! Very intuitive. Other plusses: I love the numbers are big enough to see when you're bouncing around, or even in the dark the light does a pretty good job. The buttons are large enough and easy to use while you are running if you'd like to see a different screen. I love using the Garmin connect website to track all my runs and see improvements over time (which I have since I started using this watch seen much improvement!). A few things to keep in mind usually the things most ppl don't like. It does not have a HR monitor and you CANNOT use it to gauge "current" pace, what I mean is if you can run at a very steady pace you will see it move from say 8:10, 8:15, 7:55 because we usually don't stay steady, at the end of each mile it will give you the avg. pace per mile (after every 1 mile and no you can't change this setting). So, if you must know exactly how fast or slow you are going at that exact moment, it will shift. Other than that you can see your distance and time, calories, pace, etc. The 2 screens give you options on what it is you find most important. It also has a run/walk feature which I haven't used and also has a virtual pacer feature, which simply lets you know if you're going faster or slower than your set pace, but I haven't used that either. I simply bought this watch to know exactly how far I went, how long it took me, and I like knowing my avg pace at the end. It also has a feature that will stop the timing if you have alot of red lights, etc. So far, super easy to use, I love it. Just all the information I need. If you want or need a lot of other info from your runs, then this is probably not the watch for you but if you want simple/run & go, it's great! Usually it takes 60seconds or less to gauge the start area (while it searches for a satellite) so i haven't had to wait forever or anything. I have nothing negative to say about it and was actually pretty impressed with Garmin connect also. I'd been using runkeeper in the past or mapmyrun, but garmin connect has more options and also allows you to export your workouts to another website if you so wish (including the map!). Great purchase, I'd highly recommend it. November 8, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not for runners working on time and pace This watch works well and does exactly what it is suppose to. Easy to use, easy to charge, picks up satellite fast and is accurate. I did not like it because you can not see time, pace and distance on same screen. you have to press buttons during run to see the info. I returned and paid a little more for garmin that shows all three on same screen. May 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Basic, but good watch Good watch - does exactly what you would expect it to do. Battery doesn't seem to last that long, especially when you toggle between pace/calories on one view and distance/time on another view. Better to select one view & leave it there if you're going on a really long run. Also, a very misleading cover picture when looking at the watch to buy online - it shows that all time, distance, pace & calories can be viewed all in one view, but that is not the case. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Running Watch I was very excited to find this product. It had all the features I was looking for and was well-priced in comparison to other products with those features. I have had it for just over two weeks and have used it on all of my runs and one race; it's perfect. I have really liked that it shows time and pace or time and distance, and that I can push a button (if I'm wearing gloves, it still works). I would highly recommend this product. I also liked that it was pink. November 16, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Okay Budget GPS Watch I've had this watch for a little over a year now and overall like it, especially for the price but there are a few things that I wish were improved. Pros Easy to use - good set up to see your time/pace/distance Relatively inexpensive Fun colors Accurate Garmin has a nice computer program Cons Battery Life - After about a year of use I can barely get through my long runs without it dying (I am training for a marathon, so a long run maybe 3-4 hours). For shorter runs I need to turn the watch off after use so it will still have life for the next run Initial location finder - Once it finds you it works really well, but sometimes it will take up to 5-10 minutes to find my location and I've had it not be able to find me at all (I've moved since I bought it and have the same issue everywhere). Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Beginner Watch!! I am relatively new to running races longer than 5K, and during training I felt like this watch would be a great tool to help me pace and keep time as I progressed to longer races. I used it in my first race and it was great. I read from another reviewer that it can take about 5 minutes to get your location so I did that during the race line up. I had no problems with it and it was great to look down and see "Ahead pace" flashing as I exceeded my goal! Another reviewer mentioned getting a wrist sweat band if you have smaller wrists. I got one of those as well, and it fits perfect. April 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THIS WATCH I purchased the green watch about a month ago. I read a review somewhere else that it didn't give an "average pace" only and "instant pace," so I was a little weary purchasing this watch. Turns out that it does offer an average pace feature, you just need to update the software. This watch is well worth the money and does everything I want it to...mainly tells me my pace, distance, calories burned, and shows me my route on a map when I connect it to my computer. Other features include interval pacing, virtual pacing, split times, elevation, and all that other good stuff that you may not need, but is great to have. Another great thing about this watch is that it fits great on small wrists! This watch is WELL worth the money. March 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Product! This watch is absolutely perfect for the everyday runner. I wanted something to track pace, mileage, time, and calories and it does exactly that. It doesn't have the fancy heart rate monitor unless you buy some type of attachment but I wasn't looking for one anyways. You can connect this watch to the computer and download garmin connect (its free) and see maps of all the places you've run along with cool charts and graphs of pace and calories. This watch is easy to use yet has high quality features and I LOVE it! November 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value for the price I bought this watch to replace my Garmin Forerunner 110 that I'd had forever and loved. THis Forerunner 10 seems a little more complicated to get throught the screens, but I may need to give it more time - only had it a week. But it finds a satellite signal quickly and so far I've been able to run and get basic info I need. September 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Watch Overall! I had heard great things about this watch so I bought it because of so many great reviews. I would 100% recommend this watch, it is very simple and easy to use! Pretty accurate to calories burned and when plugged in gives so many cool ways to track your runs. Love this watch!
