Product Information:

The TaylorMade® RocketBladez Irons are engineered for players seeking the optimum combination of distance, control, feel, forgiveness and playability. Speed Pocket technology promotes radically increased speed and distance. This revolutionary technology is designed for optimum face-flex creating a consistent and stronger ball flight. RocketBladez are the true blend of finesse the pros demand and the explosive distance amateurs crave.
FEATURES:

  • Engineered to deliver long and consistent distance, higher and quicker-stopping trajectory and great feel
  • Clubface design reduces directional dispersion to promote increased accuracy
  • Speed Pocket is filled with a Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) made by 3M™ for a fantastic feel that keeps debris out and dampens unwanted vibration while still allowing the slot to flex at impact
  • RocketBladez Irons flex and rebound at impact increasing the speed of the face to promote faster ball speed and a higher, stronger ball flight that lands on a steep, quick-stopping descent angle
  • Speed Pocket in the 4 through 7 Irons work with an advanced ultra-thin face design and improved Inverted Cone shape to promote consistently high ball speed and distance on center and off-center hits, especially low on the face
  • Inverted Cone design influences how the face flexes and rebounds at impact to control the angle at which the ball leaves the face, promoting straighter shots and a tighter dispersion
  • 9 grams of saved weight from a new shorter hosel is strategically redistributed to lower and center the Center of Gravity (CG), promoting a higher launch angle, higher peak trajectory and steeper descent angle for quick-stopping landings
  • External and internal notches in the hosel make it easy to bend the head to adjust the lie angle
  • Durable Nickel chrome finish
  • RocketFuel™ 85 Steel Shaft

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 51 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Straight as a string!!! I played the R11 irons last season, GREAT distance iron, but not as straight as I would have liked. The Rocketbladez are average distance irons for me, but they EXCEL as far as direction!!! These things hit straight as a string!!! I started getting some distance back because after the direction these went each and every time, it allowed me to start leaning on them. I still have my R11 irons, but these are the irons I will be playing!!! Shot a 76 right out of the gate with these!!! January 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by More distance I was skeptical that new irons would add any distance, coming from my 6 year old Nike Slingshots but a big difference, if hit flush another 20 yards carry w/ 6 iron, 10-15 w/ wedge. Clubs are nice to look at and beautifully balanced. Nice high trajectory as well, at least for me. Strongly suggest you use Dick's shot analyzer when purchasing, I tried 5 different sets - including my current clubs for a baseline - and the results w/ each was quite different. For me these clubs were the best combination, but might not be for you. July 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent feel to irons Replaced burner 2.0 irons with stiff shafts with these irons with regular shafts. From first round with them, I loved them. Great feel and increased distance. March 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rocketbladez...Nice I tried them and got a consistent 15-20 yards more than my current set of callaway irons on the 4-7i. They felt good/solid when striking, weren't too ugly at address, and overall were an improvement over my current set. Also tried current offerings from callaway, ping, and mizuno...the rocketbladez just worked better, 4 me. YMMV. December 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rocketbladez......Get 'em!!! I am very happy with my new irons. Very long!! I knew these iron were the one for me when i hit them in the golf simulator @ Dick's. I'm at least one club longer with these iron over my old Cleveland CG2's. Taylor Made is a name that I trust when it comes to golf gear. Now, go get those 'Bladez! June 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by distance adjustment required...really hot irons I have been playing a set of forged blades for the past decade and was looking to regain some of the distance I had as a high school golfer. I tried a number of sets on the simulator at Dick's. These TM RocketBladez were very consistent and had both a good look and feel for me. While it was difficult mentally for me to not buy a "player's iron", the difference on the course is significant. I am seeing an extra 8-20 yards per club as you increase through the set; ie, 8-10 yards more with the PW and 15-20 yards more with the 4 iron. Moreover, any little mis-hit loses very little distance as opposed to my old blades. These clubs feel incredible and once I made the adjustment of clubbing down by 1 club for approach shots, these irons allowed me to restore what has been lost over the past 18 years--distance. While they have reduced my scoring by 2-4 shots/round, others may see greater improvement with these irons depending on their handicaps. October 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice feel and distance I have only been playing golf for about 2 years now and started with Top Flite XLs. I have noticed even if you dont hit good they still fly straight and good distance. I love the sound when you hit them and getting about 15 to 20 yards more per club. only problem is not hitting the 4 very well. but i am sure with more time and patience that will change. overall like the clubs alot and will keep them a long time. Rated 5 out of 5 by Upgrade on a budget After getting a SLDR driver (WOW), I needed to upgrade irons. Played Mizuno MX 950 irons for about 5 years, and really liked them. So much hype with golf clubs. SLDR driver proved true. Demo'd all the top brand irons. Price lead me to RocketBladez irons. Lite grip, and smooth swing worked for me with these irons. More distance, accuracy, great feel and higher ball flight is not hype. Thank you goes to the pros @ Dick's for their help. July 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by As advertised--great irons with added height & distance I am a mid to low handicap golfer, and my age is 56. I was looking for a new set of irons that would carry as long and high as my old set and had zero luck until I found these irons. I purchased a set of steel reg. flex at Dick's last week. I am very happy with these irons, and I am still adjusting to the extra distance--I was a little long on every green with these irons today. My old P wedge was a consistant 125-130--the new P wedge carried 145 today. I was a consistant 150 with the old 8 iron--today I flew it a little over 160. Most shots flew just over the flag--right on line. My natural iron shot is a slight draw, however these draw a little more. The only con I have with these clubs is that they are a little offset--which makes it hard for me to fade a shot if needed. Also, I miss-hit the 6 iron once and it still carried 175--they are forgiving! May 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by RBZ irons After buying the new RBZ irons I have been hitting straighter and longer. I have more confidence in my shots and course management. July 16, 2013
