Mizuno Men's JPX-825 Irons - (Steel) 4-GW 5 5 2 2
Typical excellent Mizuno quality. My first set of Mizuno irons were the "Grads," and I have used three more sets since then. I tried two other brands, but I have come back to Mizuno to stay!! May 9, 2013
Beautiful Irons. Longer and Forgiving. Got these to replace my Ping G10's. I've been playing about 2 years and average 93. Always was nervous about Mizunos because of those MP's. But these JPX 825 are cavity backed and hit longer than most cavity back. The soft face gives a great feel on hits... even ones that aren't pure. Definitely a thinner bottom than some cavities so takes some getting used to. Like i said i'm a 20+ handicap but these are a great club for that kind of player. Clubs are absolutely beautiful. From the face at address to pulling them from the bag. I got fitted and i like these better than the Taylormade or Ping cavities i tested. Highly recommend. I got a 4 hybrid to gap wedge set. Not quite comfortable hitting a 4 iron so the 4 hybrid was a great choice. Only complaint is that the face is so soft, which is great for stopping the ball on the green, can get nicked up easy. So use your 56 in the bunkers and don't use a nicked up ball cuz it could leave a mark. February 14, 2013
