Rated 2 out of 5 by whyitzmemzb not too happy I bumped the lantern and it didn't work anymore. Even after sitting for 24 hours July 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by sabotage great light output This thing puts out some great light but... the first night we used it, the handle kept popping off on one side. If we pop it back in, the other side pops out. This uneven handle is driving me crazy! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the handle issue. May 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by dkern79 Good lighting and supports rechargeable battery pack So far the lantern works well. Haven't used it extensively to date but it does provide an ample amount of light - probably comparable to a 40-60 watt bulb. April 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bob 1492 Good overall lantern This Coleman lantern puts out enough light on LOW to get you up or down a dark stairway, if you lose electricity, or to gently light an entire room. On HIGH, you can easily read a newspaper providing you are close enough to the light. Seems to be made fairly well. Right now I'm using 4 "D" cells, but I'm thinking about getting the rechargeable CPX 6 cartridge. September 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by clemens2153 Coleman LED lantern is a poor product I am an avid camper and have purchased multiple battery powered lanterns in the past. This lantern is a poor product. The main problem I had with this product is the battery compartment underneath the lantern did not lock in place and it frequently lost power during use. At one point, I had to tape the battery compartment in place to keep it working. I also found very little difference between the the low and high light intensity settings which defeats the purpose of buying such a lantern. Coleman typically makes great products, however, I would never buy nor recommend purchasing this product in the future. September 7, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Musiker Not as bright as expected This is definitely a good-quality product, and it definitely serves the purpose of providing light inside a tent. The choice of two brightness settings is a nice feature for saving battery power, but I had hoped that the higher setting would be brighter than it is. As for use outside a tent or house, it is the perfect bug attracter; unless the lantern is placed too far away to shed any usable light, you will be fighting swarms of insects. August 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Matt Just ok I wouldn't buy this again. U can only use it on a table or hanging up, not both. After using on a table, the springs that contact the battery pack become compressed, then when you pick it up, it shuts off. You have to take out the batteries, reach in and stretch out the springs. It gets old real fast. August 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by WJ See Below I have not used it yet other than to see if it works. This is a product that we will probably just use when the lights go out. July 25, 2013
