Shoulder Pads Too Short
It was too short in the diaphragm area to offer adequate protection. We never used this product due to the amount of exposure to the diaphragm area. Also, the size chart is inaccurate. We bought the XL to fit a 15-year-old, 5'9" and 135 pounds.

STYX Shadow Shoulder Pads
Nice pads, we have been using STYX exclusively for 8-9 years now. The K-18's are beat, these were a nice replacement. they are VERY lite and VERY flexible. As a Dad with my two boys playing Varsity, i was a little concerned with the Chest / Sternum protection. It looks like STYX did a good job with allowing for Flexibility but keeping protection. The boys are hard aggressive Midi's. They love them !
