AWESOME SHOES, VERY COMFORTABLE AND STYLISH
HOWEVER. HATED SHOPPING AT DICK'S. WHEN THERE IS A STORE IN THE AREA THAT COMPETES, I WILL SHOP THERE. HATE THE CHECK-OUT WAIT ALWAYS AT DICK'S AND ALWAYS DREAD SHOPPING THERE.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Morri35 I expected more for the money
I purchased these shoes in June for a half marathon in mid September - which I did run. Overall, I think these shoes are better suited for a runner with a lighter foot strike or is just a lighter runner in general. Being that I am an average 6' 1" 180lb. male I never considered myself to be a 'heavy' runner. Currently I have about 200 miles on the shoes and I am experiencing heel and knee soreness which I have not experienced in the past. The heel cushion in the shoes has deteriorated to the point where I need to consider a new pair of shoes much sooner than anticipated. When I purchased these shoes I planned on getting more for my money #300 - 350 miles# as these shoes are on the expensive side. The shoes were comfortable in the beginning however, they may not be the best choice for an average runner with a heavy foot strike.

I purchased these shoes as a race day shoe for the 2013 Chicago Marathon and after a couple runs, including a 14 miler, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Slogger Great for non-heal impact gait
This is my second pair of Brooks Pure Cadence. Really wears well. The minimal heal construction helps me keep my impact on middle to front of foot. Much better on knees. Sole material lasts longer than other brands I have tried.

My wife told me I would love these shoes, she was right. They are super comfortable and light weight. I was running in Nike Free run before I purchased these. It was going to be hard to replace those for the but these Brooks have done it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bat Great running shoe
These were purchased for my son who runs cross country. This is his second pair of Brooks and he will never buy another brand. The quality is excellent. Best running shoe brand out there as far as we are concerned. Before you make a decision, try these on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jass This product should be used strictly for running
I am an urban free runner and day one of use I ripped the grips off the toes with a single cat jump. I went and got a new pair under the impression that it was a factory default but nope! These shoes are comfy, lightweight, breathable and give good support but they cannot take heavy use. If you do just straight running then these shoes are for you, if you're planning on trail blazing or free running/parkour DO NOT BUY.
Overall, I will not be purchasing these shoes ever again due to the fact that they are generally around $100 and I've had $40 shoes last longer than these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Al These shoes are overall satisfying
These shoes are overall good. These just like most shoes are over priced. I have always used Nike since they came out and this is my first time changing. Overall it is a good shoe and must wait to see endurance of it.
