Golfers can see their swing from a different point of view with the GolfSense® 3D Swing Analyzer. GolfSense® is the world's first portable 3D sensor system designed to deliver real-time feedback and analysis of a golfer's swing. The patented high velocity motion engine uses data from four discrete MEMS sensors inside the device to accurately calculate club speed, club position, swing tempo, and swing path.
FEATURES:
- 3D Motion Capturing: Connect the analyzer to a mobile device via bluetooth; the application can be set to automatically capture and save every swing in rapid succession or just the ones selected with a simple press of the yellow button. Turn on "impact detection" and GolfSense will ignore practice swings and only log those pertaining to actual ball contact. Review any single swing, or compare two separate swings at once within the application
- Extremely Accurate Swing Data: The analyzer can detect the acceleration, velocity, tempo, position and posture of the device and the club by calculating sensor data at sample rates over 1,000 times per second. At the same time, the high velocity motion engine inside the software will divide the swing into different segments of club position and posture. The result is a highly accurate view of the swing down to the millisecond. When it comes to calculating club head speed, GolfSense is within 3 mph of doppler radar systems such as TrackMan and laser systems such as GolfAchiever
- Phone in Pocket - BETA: Because there's much more to a swing than just club movement, GolfSense developed an innovative way to capture hip rotation and lateral translation. Simply put an iPhone or iPod Touch in a pocket with the application running and swing. GolfSense uses the sensors in the mobile device in addition to the sensor on the glove to provide even more data about the swing. Since pocket depth and size may vary, this feature is focused more on general movements and feedback versus millimeter specific analysis
- Fits Right in a Glove: Attaches easily to almost any golf glove. Simply slide the Velcro strap on the glove through the rubber "belts" on the back of GolfSense. not as good as it seems, i guess you get what you pay for.
Hi, I bought the golfsense swing analyzer ,used it for a while. At first it seemed to work good. Although after some use I noticed it is very inaccurate. I have had my skinhead speed clocked at 121 mph by very expensive equipment. The fastest I could get with this sensor was 103 mph. Also I tried extremely exaggerating the club path (inside out). But no matter what it always showed (outside in) . Now I know what you are thinking. This guy just isn't any good. Let me assure you that I am a single digit handicapper. So buy this knowing that I warned you. Wish someone would have written this review before I spent $140.
