WIFI revolutionizes GoPro
I bought this camera to use with my DJI Phantom quad copter to do simple ariel shots and the ability to preview shots and then control the camera from my iPad using the GoPro app is invaluable.

Good product
The Gopro hero 3 silver takes good photos and videos. The only problem is that it does not always turn on. It also dies when it is not on. Other that that I like it and I would shop at dicks again.

GoPro - Great Quality
I would certainly recommend the GoPro if you do a lot of adventure sports. I used mine for the first time skiing this weekend and the quality of video is excellent.
The only thing that I wasn't happy about is that you have to buy the memory card separately. Also, the package doesn't come with a physicaly copy of a user manual which is somewhat annoying. You have to download everything online and you don't get even basic video editing software.
Either way - the quality of video and ease of turning on and off more than make up for anything. I'm going to continue using it for skiing then will try it with snowmobiling, jeeping, dirtbiking, etc.

I've now used it many times to capture road bike and mountain bike trips in my local area. Excellant video quality !

My biggest disappointment was GoPro's lack in communicating the Product cannot be used without the purchase of a MICRO scandisk.
