Rated 4 out of 5 by Nitro Good, but not great This is my second pair of atlas straps, the first ones broke on the 3rd use. Apparently you can't swing in them, which I was almost certain you could. After about maybe a minute swinging they gave way next time I used it, and I only weigh 160. Lucky it was replaced for free. Other than the fact that's you can't swing in them at all, they're great. Easy to set up, tons of anchor points to make any distance work, and don't stretch when wet. Definitely my favorite straps so far. August 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by One Eyed Jack Great performance, high price Eno's Atlas Straps make rigging a hammock an almost thoughtless process, quite literally allowing a child with no knowledge of knots or linecraft to quickly and safely hang a hammock.Eno's decision to launch the next itteration of their venerable Pro Strap using polyester webbing rather than nylon has, in my opinion, created a suspension system that is going to be hard to improve upon from the standpoint of ease of use, strength, and low maintenance. The simple elegance of the Atlas Strap suspension system is offset only by the price point ($30.00), and the fact that it's a little bulky for the gram counting, mountain hiker who's backpack space is precious. The offset is slight however, and I would reccomend the Atlas Strap suspension above all other systems for it's durability and ease of use. July 29, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by zman LIFE FOR HAMMOCK LOVERS JUST GOT EASIER. The ENO Atlas Hammock straps are one of those simple ideas that no-one needed, and once tried, every Hammock Lover has to have. When i first used my set, i looked at them with some confusion (as i don't read directions) and clumsily wrapped them around a tree. then with the look of confusion still on my face, how do you secure them. then the light bulb went off. Ah Ha, can it be so simple. so I undid my clumsy wrap, and re-wrapped the strap around a fairly skinny tree a couple times and fed the strap through itself. As i'm doing this i'm thinking, why of course this is going to work, how simple, yet it initially confused an avid Hammock User. With the strap secured around the tree, it leaves hanging this long piece of strap with latching points every 6" or so for 4' . Endless options for stretching your Hammock as tight as you want without all the hassle of re-tying things looking for that perfect tie job. There is no slipping of the straps once they are cinched, as they are cinching themselves tighter as you put weight on them. Now when i go to set-up my Hammock (Usually in a remote setting), it takes me about 5 min from start to ready to relax in, and about the same 5 minutes to take down, re-wrap the straps and put everything away. My Hammock life just got so easy...Love It. July 29, 2014
