Buying a better ball would be a waste...
This product is totally fine for the purpose - youth basketball. It will not last forever, nor should it for this price. If your kids are like mine, this is a basketball that will work well for a season, and will probably be left out overnight in the yard half the time you own it. You will be very satisfied with this ball, and won't care when it needs to be replaced in a year or gets run over in the driveway.
