I have two of these. the last years gray and this year green version.
last years gray held a few less and so is smaller so I out grew it and will move all my fiska jigs over to this bigger version.
I like how they do not dull hooks. some make you stab the material to hold the jigs, this just has you push the wire down into the slit. you can alter bigger jigs to get more room making one face top, next one faces bottom and so on. occasionally one will not be where i left it upon reopening the box. i think it's my fault tho for not making sure its down all of the way or bumping one while taking out another.
they do float, but check yours in a sink/tub after you get a lot of tungsten jigs, it may not hold it on top of the water if it slips into it one day. wish they would add a loop hole. could close it onto a string if it gets too heavy or so you do not loose it transporting it. like a lanyard.
if your in a pinch to add even more you can double them up side by side in same slit, just alternate the heads to opposite ends.
the hinge is full size piano hinge made of brass or non rusting metal.
the center holder/cover is removable.
the latch is one that you know it won't open by accident and have your jigs all over the snow or down the hole.
it's the only one i look for to see whats new in them.
i bought mine in person else where, because dicks is too far away to try before you buy for me.
you'll be glad you bought one.
my gray version will be holding my open water flies next summer.
