Thumb Guard
My 14 year ols son playes catcher for a select Baseball team. He always had a sore thumb until we bought this guard. It molds perfectly to his thumb and fits right inside his clove! Excellect!!!

Did not work
Followed the directions, went to YouTube and watched various fitting guide videos and once we fitted it to my son, 9 years old, (who severely jammed his thumb in a game), it was very uncomfortable. We followed the directions, used the gauze and secured firmly around his hand & put his hand in his catcher's glove, but when he puts it on, it pushes down out of the glove and even when he pushes it back up into place, it severely restricts his thumb movement to the point that it hurts and irritates his skin. Waste of money unfortunately. Wish it worked for him.

don't work
I bought this for my son who is the catcher on his little league team. We get it home and followed all directions and got it molded to his thumb and now he can't get it to fit under his glove. When we molded it we had him wear his glove around with it while it was hardening

NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE
I Bought this for my son who is a catcher. Followed the directions perfectly and when my son tried using it inside his glove it didn't fit!! A waste of $20. I threw it right in the garbage.

Great product
There is a decent product fitting explanation on the company's website. This product is 100 times easier to use than making your own by heating and molding plastic yourself. The product comes out of the package about the consistency of a mousepad. Position it around the thumb like you want it, wrap the gauze around it to keep it in place, put your hand in your mitt, and in about 20 minutes it hardens. Works great. Protects the thumb very well. Great for catchers who work wit hard throwers.

difficult to fit
this product was slightly difficult to form around finger properly-once it hardened it did not form around thumb comfortably. I purchased this product fro my son who broke his thumb last yr.
