Oy the Chaffing
I bought this skirt for a half marathon, and made the mistake of wearing it for a half marathon without testing it first. Although it is super cute, and the fit is great, the chaffing from the "compression shorts" (not really compression), was unbelievable. This brand actually makes a running skirt with a mesh panty instead of compression shorts which I believe is more ideal for running in hotter temps. I'm not quite sure why this skirt is being sold as a running skirt as it really doesn't work well for that purpose.

Fantastic running skirt
I wore the distance print skirt in a 5k this past Saturday. It was AMAZING - no riding, no chafing and it looked great! I'm planning to wear the other one I purchased when I do my next 5k this coming Saturday!! Runningskirts are TERRIFIC!

Disappointing
I had been eyeing this skirt for months, and when I noticed the price drop I sprang for it. I'm so glad I bought it at a discount or I would have been even more disappointed. This skirt rides up. The compression shorts have nothing in them that would make them stay put. Shorts are snug in the waist and loose in the legs causing the legs to ride up. Not only that, but the skirt is fitted enough that it tends to ride up right along with the shorts, baring all. I have only done a test run around my small neighborhood and spent the entire time tugging down both the shorts and the skirt.
It's a really cute print, and the pockets are great, but otherwise I'm pretty disappointed.

Nice.....but
The running skirt is super cute on, comfortable, not overly tight in the compression shorts, sized appropriately for the most part (I purchased a medium and typically fall somewhere between 8-10), but, it is larger than it should be in the waist.....absent a *MOST NEEDED* drawstring. My only fear is that I will head out with this on and it will decide to travel south. That's just as bad as something continually riding up in my opinion!! So in the end, I feel that I may need to doctor this garment ever so slightly, with a drawstring, to avoid any mishaps. Otherwise, I **DO** like it.
