The Tomcat Bow has a draw weight of 16-22 lbs and a draw length of 21-23" which is perfect for the young shooter as he/she grows and improves. Good starter bow, but didn't last long I bought this for my 10 year old son. It was his first compound bow. It worked well for a few weeks, but it is getting weaker. I did a pull check when we got it. It was right about 22 lbs. Now it's down to 17 lbs. If you don't need the full strength of the bow it would be ok. We are returning it. May 16, 2013

Cheap Bought this for our son as gift. He was finally able to begin using it during spring break and after a few shots, the piece that the arrow sits on for guidance flew off as he was shooting the arrow. Luckly, it did not fly off and hit him or anyone else for that matter. Not everyone can fork out hundreds of dollars on a beginner bow or any bow for that matter. I think $80 is expessive for this and it is still cheaply made. Back to the store it goes. April 5, 2013
Not impressed My son was very excited to get his first bow and this product was very confusing to him. We couldnt understand the aim piece and althou its a starter bow it didnt come with instructions to clearify the parts. And the biggest disappointment was after only having it a couple of weeks it snapped in half when he went to shoot an arrow. April 3, 2013
