Rated 5 out of 5 by JessJess Great value!!!!
My boyfriend and I got this for a trip to Moab and he is one of those bigger is better kind of guys. Well we saw this tent in Dicks and I fell in love with the front cover and had to get it. He thought it would be too small, because his current tent was a 6 to 8 person... but we got in anyway. It was perfect for the 2 of us. It rained 3 of the 7 days we were there and the front over hang was perfect for keeping everything dry and when it was 95 degrees at night it had great venting!!!! We love this little tent and it was easy to pack and un pack and set up. And very good quality!!! And we loved the price!

Great value for the cost. Easy to assemble. Fairly durable. Vestibule is enormous. Requires a ground cloth to keep floor dry. Rain fly doesn't cover past the seems. Great for backyard or for car camping in fair weather. Decent in light rain but without a ground cloth, expect to be damp. I bought mine in the store on sale for $60 and purchased the protection plan with it. Used it in the backyard a few times and out in the woods one time. The one time I used it in the woods made me want a better tent. But what can you expect for a $60 tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ray Mesa Great tent! does the job, fun to use.
Got this tent a month ago. So far used it once with my 10 year old son. worked great. The extra porch area is nice. When you buy a tarp, get one that is 8x10 to cover the porch and keep everything dry. Easy setup and it fits easily back in the same bag, unlike many others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kdel23 good ONE person tent
first off, i thought this tent looked sweet and i loved the design of it kind of what i have been looking for. a tent that would fit 2 plus a 50 lb dog. well I took it out with the dog last weekend right after buying. was not too hard to set up. was camping in nasty conditions one day and had 30+ mph winds and heavy rain. the tent held up great to both. nothing inside got wet at all and the tent barely moved in the wind. the big draw back is that this is not a 3 person tent, its barely a 2 person tent. i have both a sleeping pad and a cot. i like to sleep on the cot when its raining just in case of water getting on the floor but this tent makes it tough. the walls go inward so fast that when i put my cot in there (which is 12 inches high) it touch 3 sides of the tent and was 4 inches away from the otherside. i never planned on getting more than one cot in there but it would be nice to fit one and some gear. i was able to return the tent and get the 4 person version.
o also like all tents, its almost impossible to fit back in the bag

Rated 1 out of 5 by sydney53 choose another tent
Do not buy this tent!! I thought it was fairly difficult to set up. we went canoeing the next day, we put a tarp over the tent for added protection because we knew it was going to rain. the day after that, when we packed up it was all wet under the air mattress (& we had a tarp on the ground). a queen air mattress is very tight in this tent. The bottom of the tent is nylon & not a waterproof plastic material.
you can find a much better tent for the money. i will not use this tent again. i will buy another tent for our next camping trip. if I could return the tent, i would. My wife wanted this tent because of the front porch, which is the best part of the tent.

I bought this tent for what turned out to be the rainiest vacation of my life. For insurance purposes, I applied seam sealer before leaving home, and the tent kept me comfortable and dry the whole trip. I was camping alone, so the three-person size gave me adequate room to store gear and move around. And the three feet of "porch" in front of the door was a real blessing, especially in the wet weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CamperJack Good value for the money. Space is a bit overstated.
This tent is of good quality construction. Assembly by one person is impossible. If you plan on sleeping 3 people in this tent, it would be fine if you like to be stacked like cord wood.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JDB A bit complex, but not difficult and worth it.
I recommend setting this tent up before you leave. Not that it's difficult, but it's nice to know the logistics of it beforehand. Especially if it's about to rain when you get to your site like it did to me and my girlfriend. I also recommend water proofing it like with any tafetta/nylon style tent. Noticed a few random splatters, but no major leaks occurred during what I would consider a typical Florida downpour. The vestibule feature was great. Between the vestibule flap and the zippered flap on the back of the fly being open, we got a nice draft in the tent before the evening storms came in. Made it incredibly better for taking a nap at 3:00 on a humid Florida afternoon. The vestibule and tent combined also had adequate enough storage for gear for 2 people on a weekend trip, which came in handy since we were staying on a river island that required all vehicles stay on the mainland. Really the only reason why this isn't getting 5 stars is because set up was kind of tricky, and the few rain drop splatters has me a bit concerned for future use. Otherwise, I've only used it once, so it's too early for me to say it's perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Enrich Great for two people
Bought the tent in March. Used it four times on campouts with my sons scout troop in the rain and snow. Had some rain get in when the wind was gusting 30+ MPH. I get a lot of questions and comments on the design.
Well worth the money!

Easy set-up even the first time. Have a double-high full-size air mattress, set it inside, blew it up & it fit the floor of the tent like a big cushy glove. Got rained on real hard one night & the fly-tarp cover worked like a charm....love this tent.
