Rated 4 out of 5 by vernwvu Big and easy enough to set up I had two people to set this up, but could be done with one. Make sure you put the rain guard on, even on a dry night. Only draw back is flap on door gets caught in zipper.... makes it hard to get out in the middle of the night July 8, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ande Size Really Does Matter! This tent is fantastic so far. We always camped with a much smaller tent, but decided to go BIG. This tent provides the space to move around inside and keep everything out of the weather. My only dislike would be the lack of overhang at the entrance, but other than that very satisfied with this tent. April 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by MontaukDad Great Cabin-Style Family Tent I recently bought this tent for a camping trip, and I love it. Be aware of what you are buying-this is a large, heavy, cabin-style tent that is perfect for a campground, but you would not want to take it backpacking. That said, I like the style and design with the two separate "rooms", the stand-up head room is great, the set-up directions are good and set-up was quick and easy (I did it mostly by myself, but two people would make it even easier). It appears to be a good quality tent. My only complaint is about the plastic "D" rings on the tent stake tabs-they are plastic, and not very heavy. I broke one pulling out a tent stake. Not the end of the world mind you-I went to the hardware store and bought heavy metal split rings to install in their place. Much better now. One note about tents and their "capacities" (number of people they can sleep)-if you look at a floor plan, the capacity is for the number of people in mummy bags (which I hate) packed in like sardines. We sleep in rectangular bags on twin-sized air mattresses-which greatly reduces the number of people you can fit. So while this tent says it can sleep 8-10, in reality I could fit 4 comfortable on twin-sized air mattresses and have room for gear, or maybe pack 6 in on twin-sized air mattresses with no gear. Overall, I am very pleased and satisfied with the tent and think I got a lot of bang for the buck. January 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love it hate it. Love it. Hate it. LOVE IT!I purchased this tent because we grew out of our last one. I knew exactly what I was looking for and I was thrilled when I found it. I'm a single mother of two young children and a large dog so I needed a simple set up. It is definitely easy with the color code system. Didn't even need instructions. Definitely anchor all four corners down before standing up. We've camped in it four times and love the room. You can stand up with plenty of head room from anywhere in the tent. I can put a queen size and a full size air mattresses side by side in one room. Lots of windows for cross breeze. It is very nice to have screen (front room) area do hang out in. HATE IT!Our last camping trip was this past Thanksgiving. We went to Stone Mountain Georgia for six nights. I knew it was going to be cold and we were prepared for that. However, it rained for two days straight. The screened front room (that looks just like the back room) is not water restiant. Meaning that you cannot sleep anyone in front room if it rains. I used a tarp the same size as tent for In between tent and ground. It was no help. I had to move air mattress out to car in middle of nite and crowd in with kids in other room. Since we were there of 5 more days I had to do something so I bought another tarp and placed on floor as barricade from water. Helped a lot. However, an inch and a half of water in 26 degree weather creates a ice skating ring. So when the skies cleared and the ice melted I swept out all the water and started to dry out everything. Even if I was not using front room for bed I would not want to be using front room for hanging out with water coming in. LOVE IT! One of our days we had 20 to 30 mph winds with 40 mph gust. I secured the tent very well knowing the weather we were in for. And everything was fine it swayed for sure but other than that all was good. I did put tarps on outside to walls to block wind and that helped up to keep warm. December 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Adam Good tent Lots of Space I recently purchased this tent to replace an old Coleman tent that has seen a ton of use. I spend several weeks a year in a tent between camping trips and hunting trips in all kinds of weather. I was skeptical at first as the price was a little steep and I hadnt heard anything about field and stream tents. After reading the reviews and seeing the high ratings I decided to give it a chance. First off setup was rather easy as all of the poles were color coded. I did not even look at the directions that are sewn into the bag. I set it up completely by myself in about 15 minutes including the rainfly cover. Now I am no amateur when it comes to camping and seting up tents so it might be more difficult for somebody that does not have as much experience but it would be a breeze with two people. After the tent was setup I noticed that the zippers are probably not the highest quality and over time might be an issue. At first the zipper for the entry is difficult to close because the elastic on the corners that attach to the poles stretch the front of the tent very tight but once they get broken in its not bad. Inside the tent is very roomy and easily accomodates a queen size mattress in each half of the tent with room to spare for gear and a table and chairs. The ceiling hieght is awesome as I am 6'2" and can easily stand up straight with out hitting my head on the top of the tent. The first use of this tent was on an antelope hunt and we experienced an unusual amount of rain for New Mexico and of course alot of wind. The tent held up better than I had expected in the wind. The first couple rain storms I did not see any leakage inside the tent and was impressed. The last storm that hit dumped alot of rain and I did see the tent leaking along the window seams and the corners where the straps attach to the poles. Normally the corners wouldnt be a problem since they are somewhat covered by the rain fly but the rain was blowing in sideways and with the tent already saturated from the prievous storm it began to leak a little bit. For the amount of rain that we recieved the leakage was very minimal and as in another review could be cleaned up with a couple of paper towels. I would suggest getting some seam sealer and sealing all of the seams along the windows and the corners at a minimum. I have already done so and sealed all of the other seams on the tent to be on the safe side. Hope this helps you make a decision. September 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by RRAN Easy set up Chose this tent because of the size. I was replace a tent that was 14'x10' that I have had for over 2 decades. This tent is much lighter and easier to set up. One of the really nice features is the expandable bag. Not only can you fit the tent back inside the bag, but it also has wheels. August 15, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Leave No Trace Comfortable and Roomy We purchased this tent after our first tent left us drenched and facing a major rain fail in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We liked that this tent came with a rainfly, but the thing that appealed to us most was the ability to have a screened in porch to help us and our puppy escape from Michigan's hungry mosquitos yet still feel like we were outdoors. We set up a table in this area and we used it to store our gear, which allowed us to leave the back of the tent as a dedicated sleeping area. It was very roomy - I felt guilty having such a nice tent as it never felt like I was "roughing" it. Setup of the tent was easy for the two of us, I would not recommend solo setup. We used this over a five day camping excursion near Michigan's sand dunes, and we had perfect weather - sunny and mid 80's during the days/60's at night so I can't speak to how it holds up in the rain. The tent was breezy and cool, and we can't wait to take it on our next trip. Initially this tent was more than we wanted to spend, but we couldn't be happier with this purchase. July 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Familyofcampers Roomy and Dry! Took to Black Hills of South Dakota for week long vacation....held up great in several thunderstorms, couple being very windy and 3 hail storms. Few drops came in a couple seams(where the window and side meet up with a strap) but nothing a piece of paper towel wouldn't absorb. Very minor! 6 people(2adults 4 kids-ages 13-5) fit comfortably with gear, small table and couple cots. June 22, 2013
