Rated 5 out of 5áby N-N-N-Nice!!! I just came back from my second camping outing this spring, using my new sleeping bag and I swear the truth- they were the only times I have ever actually slept well on any camping outing in my life (since roughly half of camping is sleeping, ya know, maybe that's important). Both times I used it was in the Shenandoah, and both times it got down to the thirties at night, and I know there are all kinds of hardcore campers that would laugh at such temperatures, but hey, cold is cold, and I wasn't in my new bed, baby! It's a little heavier than bags for higher temperatures but it was well worth the extra ounces for the elusive good night sleep while camping. May 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Love this sleeping bag! Found this bag on clearance at Dicks, and am so glad we purchased it. Was looking for a lightweight, but warm bag to use on a recent camping/hunting trip to Idaho and Yellowstone National Park. This bag was perfect. Temps weren't too cold at night, but I was very warm (and had to unzip my bag) every night. Bag was easy to carry on a backpack. The only negative was the outside fabric. It's not that I didn't like it, but since it's a very slippery type fabric, if you're on a slight downhill (which we usually were), you might slide a bit. And it's a little hard to roll back up and fit into the bag. I just rolled the best I could, then stuffed it in! Otherwise...LOVE! Definitely recommend. Will be using this instead of my standard cotton/cloth Coleman sleeping bags that are very bulky and heavy. September 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent sleeping bag! I got this for a boy scout campout. I found it on sale at Dick's. I took size Extra Large while being a size large (female). Love it! I felt warm and cozy. It has a small little bag outside near the level of the head & shoulders. I used it to put a small flash light just in case I needed to go "potty" at night.. September 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby perfect bag well worth the price I'm a frequent tent camper that will go down to 40 degrees. The 20 rated bag was purchased just in case. With an air mattress underneath, sleep has been so much more comfortable. October 2, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5áby Returning this bag I bought this bag for my son but I am in in the process of returning it. The bag is warm and cozy, but I can't stand the material that is used for the lining. Maybe I have really dry hands, but I hate the way it feels on my skin-it is that weird polyester or something so it catches on my skin. I wish they had used a fabric that was more touch friendly, especially for the inside of a sleeping bag. If not for this, I think it would be perfect for what we wanted for our son: affordable and warm. The bag is pretty big and heavy, but we do mostly car camping, so that wouldn't have been an issue for us. December 16, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5áby Not Very Warm I got this bag as I do not like the Mummy style bags and this bag did have the head and shoulder closure that I did like. Got the 20 degree rated bag as I tend to get cold. Took it up to Mammoth mountain in July (day time is high 80s and night is 50s)...I was SO cold at night, especially from the hips down to toes. Also, zipper is extremely hard to zip up without catching every few inches. Bag is going back! September 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Very satisfied with the sleeping bag Our son was very pleased with his sleeping bag. He stayed nice and warm camping in the rain. July 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Warm dry bag 29-39 degree's no thermal's used. My wife and enjoyed camping Oct 30 -Nov 4 2014 age 65. First time camping no more hotel's for us. This bag kept us warm with 50 mpg gust with light rain in SC. We used a Coleman tent with air mattress. We used tarps under and inside blanket on top of air mattress. Thermal R5 mats were not used and returned. Ceramic heater used early morning to change and warm tent. Zippers worked smooth. I kept my bag unzipped at times. Next time camping smaller pillow's to fit bag. November 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Here is your a short and to the point review Nice bag, good looking, very comfy and warm. Two things that I don't like about it ... The zipper gets caught way too easily and the inside of the bag make my feet feel like sandpaper. I'm an easy going person so I'm keeping it despite those flaws. Tough call on my recommendation. Rated 5 out of 5áby Very Warm -n- Cozy, Very Excellent bag. This bag, is a very warm, cozy; is an excellent bag, love the colors. It is so warm I have to unzip it; is cozy soft. I have not tested it down to 18-20 degs yet. but I know for sure this bag would be good for them temperatures easily, as I am pretty accustom to sleeping n bearing some very cold temperatures having hardly any heat in the house I grew up in. I can sleep in temps down to 35-40F before needing a blanket down to 24-18F before needing a quilt too add; from there it technique on how to rap up inside the quilt to maintain n regulate body heat. I am a male; can get away with -0F to -5F with this bag with standard clothing on tucked away inside. my other bag that was not rated like this one was a 40F rating being a thin mummy style and I got way will temps down to the single digits like 7 n 9F degs with standard clothing on. But to minus the tolerance here, this bag would differently be good for 25-30F comfortably zipped up. And even lower depending on how you are with temperatures that low. I would say its best to have installation beneath your bag for the ground as that would tend to be the coldest spot if sleeping on a next to being bear ground in like a tent or so. Other wise the bag is excellent, I will wait for a very frigate cold night to test this out side bear in the cold. and will post back after getting to test it better. Thank you. October 25, 2014
