Seriously waterproof
I'm a landscape lawn service biz owner of 8 yrs in Va beach. I've tried lots of shoes and boots- But could never find something to where that could handle the real outdoors ( walking through morning dew is like walking in the rain) and cutting grass in them -- plus maybe not have a boot tan line in June.Well- that changed with these shoes -- AND-- they were put to the true test a few days ago- torrential downpour - in the back of a elevated dump truck bed( disclaimer dangerous: don't try) ... trying to move the yard of composted material off with my feet.So the shoes were covered in mud and i had to finish cleaning up the jobsite while it was pouring... Everything i had on got wet... Including the 1" of water in my door panels cause i left the door open during this fiasco. I got home-- and when i got home and took off my Salomons-- my feet were actually dry. The ankle part of my sock was understandably wet because i had on shorts.... But the wet never went past the bottom of my ankle bone-- leaving the bottoms of my feet dry.Amazing. Truly impressed - Finally something that goes as hard as me besides my GMC.

Awesome all terrain running shoe.
This shoe is light weight yet very durable and water resistant. The first day i used these shoes i put them to the test, runnning, jumping, and crawling through big /small rocks, heavy gravel, water and mud. These shoes held up and kept my feet dry and supported my ankles through the rough terrain. I could barely tell they were new shoes, next to no break in period had no sores or sorness in my feet after all that or the next day. The price of the shoes is kinda steep but you get what you pay for, Love these shoes.

Good shoe
Well-made and comfortable with goretex and conagrip outsoles. Overall a good purchase (and not my first Salomon shoe). However, Salomon provides lousy insoles with these shoes (no arch or foot support to speak of) so for a better fit and support suggest something "aftermarket" be used.
