Gamer/Gamer V2
Not a very good golfer, a 16 handicap. I've been playing a little over a year, and started playing the Gamer V2 last summer. Loved the ball because of the performance/price ratio. I was nervous when Dicks bought the brand, and started playing the Bridgestone XFixX as a replacement because of some of the reviews/uneducated guess' that Dicks would ruin the Gamer. Well they had a sale, 2/$30 so I picked up a few dozen to try because honestly my game was bad enough that I didn't think the ball would matter. And to my surpise, I started shooting my best rounds of the year. If the ball changed from last year, it would be darn hard to tell. Checked better than the XfixX, flew just as straight, and you can't beat the price. I'll continue to play these.

Best ball for the price
I'm not a good golfer, more of the weekend warrior type with a slow swing speed. This ball has served me very well over the last several years. It is inexpensive, feels great and consistently rates very high in Golf Digest. I don't like spending $40 or more for a dozen balls I know I'm going to lose sooner than later, and I love the feeling of playing with a new ball every round. I couldn't ask for more!

Gamer vs. Gamer V2
Well, I was afraid of this when Dicks bought the TopFlight GamerV2 from Callaway...supposedly they just dropped the V2 from the name but seems they dropped the ball as well. After playing a round with the new 'Gamer', they play harder like Top Flight of old. They don't compress the same as the V2....disappointing !!

Great ball
Best ball out there for the price. Performs like a tour ball but with a better price tag.

Great price,
Started golfing again and was talking to a Pro at a different location other than Dick's about many things to approve my game. Gave me a few different golf balls to try and I went with the Gamer over a few others. I did hit them very well and the flight of the ball did help. Will use again for a while until swing gets stronger. Great ball for a 95-105 swing speed. Works for me

This ball fits my game.
The Gamer fits my game. I have shot some of my best rounds with this ball. The Gamer will stop on the greens . It is not hard like the other Top-Flites. It gives me
distance off the tee and with my irons. I have used Pro V1,Rocketballs,Taylormade
and 330 Callaway and I prefer the Gamer. I was disappointed when I could not longer
find them in the Pro Shop, but the Assistant Pro said that YOU bought out Top-Flite
and could only find them at your stores. We do not have a Dick's Sportings in the Houston Area so have to order them. Please keep making this product.

As good or better then NXT Tour
When Dick's puchased Top Flite there were rumours that they would drop the Gamer V2, which they did. Apparently the V2 is now just the Gamer, plus they have added a "Tour" model with a high spin cover. I can comment only on the Gamer (or V2) which I used to replace the Titleist NXT Tour balls I was using early last year. As an 18 handicapper I was losing lots of balls, and looked for a less expensive replacement. The Gamer turned out to perform almost exactly as the NXT Tour, perhaps with better holding capacity on the green. Thankfully DIck's decided to keep and expand the model, and hopefully they will consider making it available at other retail stores besides Golf Galaxy.
