Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Golf Ball This golf ball is the Best Bang for the Buck on the market........ June 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great performance and value I like this ball because it performs as well as the more expensive balls. The price is more consistent with what I am comfortable paying for golf balls and I will continue to purchase these balls. June 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great ball at a great deal I have been playing the ProV1 and ProV1x for a couple years now. This ball is as long if not longer than the ProV1x and stops on the green just as well. The Gamer Tour says its a 3 piece urethane and I was skeptical of how it would perform until I played it. Before and during my last round (it was extremely backed up) I hit the ProV1x and the Gamer Tour side by side from several distances into the green and I couldn't tell the difference in the performance on the green. I will be playing these balls quite often. June 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great ball, happen to be a great value Feels, flies, and stops like a premium ball. Not quite as durable a cover as more expensive tour quality balls, but with great feel, distance, and hop and stop performance for a real good price, who cares? June 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Ball for the Average Golfer I tried the new Gamer Tour for the first time a couple of days ago. The distance was about as long as the Gamer and the ball felt a touch softer. The ball held the greens somewhat better than the Gamer and felt good off the putter. As a 90's shooter I cannot take advantage of the high end tour balls like the ProV1 and play this ball as well as the $45/dozen balls. Comparable to the Titleist NXT Tour and Taylor Made RocketBallz Urethene, which are both good balls. At the current price of 2 dozen for $40 they are probably the best buy out there for anyone with a double digit handicap. Glad I tried them and will purchase them again. To the folks at Dick's: The Gamer series of balls are one of the reasons that I go to your stores, and usually wind up buying other items. I also do not know your marketing strategy or any restrictions with Callaway, but making these golf balls available at course pro shops would increase both your sales and exposure. June 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5áby ProV light? Overall impression is this is a good ball. Even better with a urethane cover for $25. Value is excellent. Performance with distance was similar to many other balls thru the bag. Putting and greenside action is very good. Spin and feel is also improved some. The issue I had was on full wedge shots. The cover will shred a bit. Similar to older NXT tour and original Gamer but not near as bad as Maxfli U3. Is it a ProV? No, but for half the price it may be close enough to work for what you need. Rated 5 out of 5áby Best Gamer Yet Have liked Top Flite's high-level balls since the Tour Edition days. Have recently been using urethane balls, so was glad to see these. Well-hit irons will chew them up, but that is true will all urethane. They behave like taylor tp3, maybe not quite as accurate placement as tp5 but half the price, they work for me. Length is such that I can't tell any difference. May 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Love 3 piece Ball Very good distance, good roll on greens when putting, and holds well when chipping May 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Gamer Tour - IS The latest TF Gamer model, the Tour, has just about what I need (13 handicap) - good distance, great stopping, and soft feel on the putter. Have been using Bridgestone e5s, and these are quite comparable for $10 a dozen less. Only concern (if it is one) is that the grooves on my wedges do shred the soft urethane cover a little - had to pull off a few thin shreds from time to time - but it wasn't a problem. I don't have great distance off longer clubs, so I'm hitting a lot of half-wedges. I just pulled off the shreds and kept playing, lasted all 18 holes. I'll probably keep playing them for quite some time. May 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5áby Big Disappointment I have been a disciple of the Top Flite Gamer V2 ball for years and was looking forward to trying out these new Tour balls. The increase in spin was hardly noticeable from the Gamer V2 but the decrease in distance was quite noticeable. Will not be buying again. May 7, 2013
