Adequate distance. I expected more spin around greens. Ball is still too hard for me to fully enjoy

This ball flies far and stops on a dime. I have played these and the standard Gamer with great success and have found the Gamer Tour plays a bit shorter off the tee and a lot of spin on to the greens. The urethane cover feels fantastic and gives it a bit of a softer feel. Obviously it's not an expensive tour ball, but for the price this ball plays well. I would definitely recommend these balls for anyone interested in them.

I tried the Top Flite Gamer and the Top Flite Gamer Tour the Tour was much better as far as spin on the green; both balls were long off the tee with good feel. Really a great value.

I found that the distance isn't a much as expected but they stop quickly on the green.
Playing in the wind was about as expected. I like the feel. Not a hard as a rock feel like the Top Flite of old.

I have been playing gamers since they came out. Had some durability issues early on but, seem to have overcome the problem. Really like them, good distance, feel good off the club, soft off the putter, spin like a PV. Bought the gamer tours simply because they were cheaper than the regular gamers. Played 6 rounds with the tours can't really tell any difference. Will I buy them again? Depends on the price.

Very satisfied with the purchase and the ball. I figured if I was going to lose balls at the beginning of the season and the gamer performs well except for the spin rate around the green is lower than the Pro V1 which I normally use.

I'm a player that shoots in the mid 90's on average. I have a very inconsistent swing that lets me put balls where I want them to be when I am on and is a train wreck when I am off. I was a really big fan of the Gamer V2 (which is now just called the Gamer after Dick's bought the brand). What I liked about the V2 was the relatively straight trajectory, added distance with a pretty nice feel off the irons. What I did wish for was for a bit more spin when approaching the greens with the V2's.
I think these may have met my wishes. With the V2's I was averaging about 15-20 longer on my irons. With the Gamer Tours, I average about 10 yards longer with my irons BUT I can stop these on the green. Most of my shots from about 130 yds and in either stop about a foot past the ball mark or even check back about a foot for my shortest irons and my wedges when I get clean contact. I'll take the little bit of lower distance (compared to the V2s) for the added spin.
Otherwise, the V3's and the Gamer Tours feel the same when I strike them.

OK first I should say, this is me settling for something other than I want. I WANT FREAKs but we all know that is over and done....sigh
So I took these babies out to try and fill the void in the ball department. I was very happy with how they played and yes they probably are better around the greens. I just miss that FREAK feel off the tees.
I took the Tour and regular Gamers out and didn't really notice a ton of difference. Off the putter was probably the biggest "feel' difference. Both balls were long and kept up with the higher priced stuff that my foursome was throwing out there.
Anyone wanting the feel of a ProV would probably like these. I'm proud to where my Top Flite Gamer hat on the Tee Box and these balls deserve a shot. Just so it's said, NO these are not Rock Flites....no not at all.

Three piece urethane covered ball just like the expensive balls. I'm a 12 handicap with moderate swing speed. I have not noticed any problems with cover shredding or scuffing. Most people think that any ball with Top-Flite on it is a Rock Flite, but this is a very nice product. It's a shame that the golf magazines haven't jumped on board, but they are busy collecting advertising money.
