Rated 5 out of 5 by Brownlensman Great safe for the price This safe works flawlessly. I purchased it for my closet and bolted it to a shelf. Push the button and slide the same finger over the bio-sensor and the safe door drops open. It's as simple as that. There are two padded shelves inside that each hold an automatic or revolver with room for a couple of magazines or speed loaders. I also keep a box of 50 rounds of ammo behind the magazines. The safe needs AA batteries installed and the bio-sensor to be programmed before using. The batteries I installed are still working fine 8 months later. There is also a key lock to open the safe if the batteries go dead. This is not going to keep a determined thief out of it, but is perfect to keep young ones away from dangerous items yet still allowing quick access when it's needed. October 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by DigitalDrewface nice unit This is a good safe but the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it doesn't have a light. April 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Brunswick_Chris Good Value for What it does I have had two pistols in this safe for over a year now. I have yet to replace the batteries in it, and I check it several times a week (unlock via bio lock) to confirm operation. For the price, it is an excellent value and the bio lock works well. However, it can take a few swipes to get your finger in the correct position to unlock the safe. Additionally, from the time you make it "ready" until the time it will accept a finger print is several seconds. For that reason, I would not recommend this if you are looking for the fastest way to gain entry, a punch code would be faster. February 3, 2013
