It literally fell apart I purchased this bike for my wife for Mother's Day. At first, she was VERY excited about it, and we headed out to the Greenway. After the first ride, we had to take it back, because the derailleur had come out of alignment, and she couldn't shift to the high gears. The local store, made the adjustments and sent us on our way. Two days later, on a ride, the front breaks started rubbing to the point she couldn't pedal without a lot of extra effort. Fortunately, someone on the path had a screwdriver, so we over adjusted to let her get home. The very next day, we went back out, and this time, the pedal fell off. We tried to put it back on, but ended up hoofing it home (2 miles) before taking it back to the store. The good news is, the staff at the Raleigh store (by the mall) are AWESOME. We returned it, and Doug and Mike helped us find another bike, with similar features, and what we hope is better quality. The Diamondback Clarity. May 17, 2013
