blair wigging in shore rode
i live in new orleans and use the 8ft 15 to 30 lb fast action rod to catch mostly river catfish and mangrove. In my opinion the new blair wigging isnt as good as the old model. The older rod was much more stiffer at the tip and has more action. The new rod is like a noddle at the tip and too flimsy. I much rather buy the old model. im kinda disappoint in this buy but owell i use it was a back up rod. it a over ok rod but it just my 2 cents

Amazing quality at a GREAT price!
I own three of these rods, one 7'6" gen 1, one 7'6" gen 1 offshore and an 8' gen 2. I love every single one of them and will be adding to the collection. They really did a great job with the gen 2's, feels sturdier but they are a little heavier than the gen 1's but thats not a problem at all. Lots and lots of backbone especially with the 8', great all around rods for any kind of fishing you do!

It's been a good run
After 3 years of having my 7'6", my friend broke the tip off putting in the rod locker. This rod had been through it all and back and still work faithfully, even through a 40 lb. tarpon. I would recommend this rod greatly and I am excited to get a new 7'6" for free!

Excellent Rod
I use the 7'9" (original) & 7'2" (new model) rods for almost all of my inshore fishing...The tips are sensitive enough to toss light jigs & live bait on the flats for trout & reds, but the rod has enough backbone to pull big snook out from the docks & bigger snook from under the bridges...I have owned 3 of these rods & have 0 complaints.

Addicted to Flats Blue
Excellent Value! Excellent Action! This rod is a Bait Slinger. First Cast Dish-On. Coupled a 7'-6" with 4000 Sabalos Reel just like my Hero the Mogan Man, spooled with 20 lb. braid and started slinging 3/8 oz. Aqua Dream spoons the length of a football field. Getting that bait or lure as far away from both you and or the boat or Kayak is important when stalking spooked game fish of any kind. Go Get You One.
