Rated 5 out of 5 by Have two love them Bought one on vacation last year liked it so much i bought another one this year just all around great rods love them October 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent rod for its weight and price. So far the rod performed well. It hauled in a four foot long bonnet shark with no problem. The shark was released. It casts a long way with a cheap Shimano Sienna 4000FD. Still waiting to battle a hefty snook or red on the flats of Tampa. September 22, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by it's a nice rod but It's a nice fishing rod but it has a few flaws it's made for both freshwater and saltwater average height between 6 and 9 feet they make both baitcaster and spinning reel setups but the downfall is what the product is made out of if you're an avid fisherman I don't recommend this product I had several break in the past and a few more recently the same thing happens every time the roads all break in the same place and they're built real well again there just made out of the wrong material September 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Strong and flexible. Excellent rod for the price. Very good purchase. July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome I have had this rod for about 2 weeks and I absolutely love it, Reeled in a 8 pound sheepshead like it was a pinfish. July 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Light Tackle Rod ever ! Great balance and feel paired with my Penn Conflict 4000 awesome combo. April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rod Have only used the rod once since bought, but seems to be a great rod, and for a good price. Read mixed reviews on the rod and wanted to try it out myself. The 7'-6" was a little longer than I was wanting (wanted the 7'-2" but didn't have online at the time) but I think it will do me well. I went ahead and bought (4) of the 7'-2" rods from that auction website the same day that I ordered this rod. First Wright & McGill product I've owned, but figured my idol uses them, so I might as well use them also. Tight Lines April 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rod For a Variety of Different Fish. I bought my 7'6" flats blue rod about 8 months ago and wow, it is amazing. I blew out my knee 7 months ago and haven't been able to do any fishing with it.(Do yourself a favor and don't blow your knee out) For spring break I'm down here in the Keys and there's a canal in our backyard. I heard there were baby tarpon in it so I thought well I might as well give it a try. First cast I hook up and the rod feels great. Had no problem pulling in a little 20 pounder. I heard Blair say he caught a 130lb Tarpon on this rod so obviously this rod is capable of almost anything inshore wise. Great rod not only for the price, but when comparing it to other rods, it matches up well. The price is a plus, if the rod costed $200 I'd buy it. Anyway, if you're looking for a rod that can catch just about anything inshore, buy a 7'6" flats blue rod. FYI: I'm using this rod with a 4000 Shimano Saros. April 1, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Shipping Problem or Horrible Rod I bought this rod on the sale where you could get a rod and get the Sabalos reel free. My dad's rod came in 2 days ago, the 8' 0" rod. It could bend perfectly and everything. My 7' 9" came in today. I brought it out of the box, put the reel on it and some line. Then I started testing out the action on it. I bent the tip down barely 2 inches and it snapped like a twig. A bluegill could've broken this rod. March 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great inshore rod ! Light, sensitive, super strong, good looking, this rod is everything I had expected after having heard about it on the ADDICTIVE FISHING SHOW w/ Capt. Blair Wiggins. I now have the 7'-6" model as well and most likely will double up on both sizes for a total of 4.! January 21, 2015
