I am an Asics guy. I want to say that because I bit off more than I can chew, let me explain. I was not ready to make the jump to a lightweight shoe. I am 200lbs and run 30-35 miles per week right now. I normally run in Gel Nimbus 14, I rotate 2 pairs currently (I will be buying the Nimbus 15 also). While the Gel Lyte 33 2 are a good shoe, (I really do like them) I need to alter my running since they do not have the heel cushion I am used to. I was expecting there to be some adjustment for me, it will take me some time to get used to them. I expect when I do figure it out I will love these shoes as I have with all of my other Asics. I am not giving up on them. I use them for shorter runs to and from the gym on my cross train days to get the feel for them.
If you are already in a light weight or minimal shoe I would recommend them. If you are coming from a heavier cushion shoe plan on an adjustment period. I am still an Asics guy and do not plan on changing any time soon.
