Kelty Cosmic Down 40░ Sleeping Bag - Long 4 4
Nice mild weather sleeping bag This is a well made mild weather sleeping bag. It is very light and thus excellent for backpacking or bike camping. Don't expect to stay warm in sub-freezing temperatures in this bag alone. When the Kelty company says 40 degrees that's what they mean. Overall, this bag is just what I was looking for and just what I expected for the money. January 14, 2015
Very narrow and not too warm I like the hood of this bag but it didn't keep me very warm. Temps went down to 50 and I was cold. Will use a liner next time. The bag is very narrow. I'm a skinny girl and found it a little difficult to move around comfortably. Not a good choice for men. October 22, 2014
Not Warm! I absolutely FROZE in 50 Degree overnight temps in this bag. And, this bag is supposed to be good down to 40 degree temps? Don't believe it. This is a summer-weight bag only! Well-constructed, packs small. Very little down "loft". October 9, 2013
Good for summer backpacking Very lightweight, packs small - will take up little room in your pack. Also pretty thin, so although it's duck down, there's not a lot of loft with this bag. Nice shape and roomier than a true mummy bag. I'm 5'6" and have room to move. Color is more of a dark mustard. The only problem I had is when I ripped off the "mattress tags" the seam came apart with it. Had to sew a good 5 inches back together. Use a scissors for tags. February 14, 2013
