Rated 5 out of 5 by Harry Minnesota proven I have used these in temps ranging from -20 to 80F. For ice, frozen lakes, cow stalls, sidewalks and trout streams throughout the state. Have found nothing to beat them on performance. They stay on while doing any task, aside from indoors, which is certainly not recommended. Other competing products are at a disadvantage as to price, performance and endurance. Regarding slips and falls, we will no matter whatever prevention device but will so have less experiences with this product on your feet. For stream wading they are superior to any product out there. Rated 5 out of 5 by Alfie's Mom Best product I have purchased in a very long time. ICEtrekkers chains are absolutely wonderful! I have horses and the ice this winter was brutal. I can't tell you how many times I fell trying to get to the barn to feed and water. A friend told me about ICEtrekkers and even where to purchase them. I was skeptical but decided to give them a try. From the first moment, I felt absolutely safe and secure walking up the icy pathway to the barn. I would recommend these to anyone and when this pair wears out, if they ever do, I will most certainly purchase them again. March 11, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Baileysauce Kept my footing on a thick layer of slippery ice! I watched several people struggle to make their way to the bath house while winter camping. Campers sledding down the road to the bathhouse left it in very poor condition for driving OR walking. As the road is a steep hill, as soon as you stepped onto the road, you simply slid (without moving) right down the hill instead of being able to cross it...All except me! With my ICEtrekkers chains, I was able to simply walk across the road as though it were bare. February 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by shelley48 Love these!! I am an old, overweight, out of shape, arthritic old gal who lives in SE Alaska where we frequently have lots of ice and slush---I have tried nearly every ice gripper on the market and this is the only one that keeps me safe!! There are more "intense" grippers but I have had those mini crampon types get stuck on the gas and brake pedal of my car which is as frightening (if not more) than the grippers that barely work to keep you upright. Was happy to find that Dick's carries these as I had been ordering them from a much less reliable place---thank you thank you---I can get out of my house safely with this product and your good service!!!
