Rated 5 out of 5 by CampoCamper quick sleeping comfort I bought the Wenzel Twin Mattress after my "self-inflating" sleeping pad started to need five or more minutes of huffing and puffing to reach desired firmness. I was delighted to see the Wenzel mattress reach full and firm inflation in less than a minute, powered by four D-cells. At this writing, the mattress has held its full inflation for nearly a week. It is wonderfully comfortable for relaxing or sleeping on. Its wide, flocked surface prevents my sleeping bag from slipping off. At nearly nine inches deep, this mattress makes tent camping luxurious. While the battery-powered pump can be used for both inflation and deflation, a second valve allows battery-free deflation (and in case of battery failure, inflation by much huffing and puffing). Fully deflated, this mattress can be compacted into an attached tote bag which takes up less space than my old "self-inflating" pad, and weighs about the same. This mattress is practical, convenient and super-comfortable. I look forward to it making me a happy camper for years to come June 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Radioman Easily inflated Rapid inflation, firm and comfortable. Downside is that it is not as big as advertised on the container. October 29, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Acat battery operated a plus Wasn't sure if I was going to like the battery operated only option on this mattress. But, overall, it has worked. Takes 4x D-size batteries. Also has an automatic shutoff once it reaches the desired air level. I guess that is to prevent motor overheating? Mattress was fairly comfortable - didn't really loose much air over the night. acceptable for the price. September 27, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by JW Works well - very convenient Have only used it a few times, but it seems to be reasonably well built. The pump works well, easy to inflate and deflate. It's comfortable and it fits in my two man tent well. August 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by gaston Return policy excellent! I bought the Wenzel and after 3 days of loosing air I returned it to Meriden Ct with no questions asked. The replacement seems to work well and the automatic pump is great! August 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by TR The Best The best air mattress I have ever purchased. It doesn't leak. The battery operated inflation and deflation characteristic makes for great convenience. July 24, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by tbird Stow n Go Air Mattress This was a poor purchase. Thought I would sleep in luxury instead of the usual cot while camping in the Sierras. Left the cot at home (no need for it with an air mattress) and drove 6 hours away into the mountains. Pitched camp and proceeded to fill the mattress with the on-board pump. Four brand new D cell batteries in and it started filling. Got to half way and stopped. Wouldn't fill anymore although the pump was running. Left it on a while longer to get enough air in it so I wouldn't be sleeping on the ground, and the pump quit. I spent the five days sleeping on the ground. I'm too old for that! Couldn't wait to return it. I'll be using a cot and therma rest from now on. July 11, 2013
