Rated 5 out of 5 by TaxlawyerRob Great lessons to be learned about personal finance! This show demonstrates the folly of keeping up with the Joneses and bowing to peer pressure to show off one's wealth. Athletes are no different than the rest of us who want to hit that "next big deal" and to live large. The problem is that many of us don't save for retirement (including athletes). The scary thing is, once a pro athlete is no longer making big money, he has no paycheck starting at age 29! This film should be required viewing for every college senior athlete, every rookie pro athlete, and it will be shown in my college personal finance class. We ALL have that selfish child inside of us who wants the newest, greatest, most prestigious, blingtastic new thing. We all could use a course in personal finance, and I also recommend books by Dave Ramsey. This 30 for 30 program is well worth the time to watch. There are some excellent lessons to be learned.
