Rated 5 out of 5 by NHHIKER Handsome ! I have always liked (Uncle Henry) knives. They have served me well. I first thought this would be a nice "fashion statement" knife. Then I took a close look and realized it was made of good steel. So, I bought it. It is sharp enough to shave right out of the package and will hold a edge well. Speaking of holding an edge... The sharpening stone really is not needed. I will find a small folding knife (or perhaps a magnesium block/Ferris rod) to put in the pouch for the stone. I am very pleased with the quality and practical design. This is much more than a "fashion statement". This knife can work and get the job done. It will ride many hiking miles on my belt. Rated 2 out of 5 by h2oskate Not a Schrade Uncle Henry I bought his knife yesterday and while I was aware that Schrade had gone out of business, I also remembered reading that another company was going to pick up the Uncle Henry brand. I probably should have spent some time reading the packaging before purchasing. My biggest complaint? The sheath is too small for the blade. There's about 3/4" of blade that's exposed when the knife is as far into the sheath as it will travel; push any more and the point would be coming through the end. Also, staglon is just a fancy name for plastic. My fault.... August 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by DeWaltman Great knife for a great price I was looking for a straight blade knife to use for deer hunting. The blade is extremely sharp with a stone attached to the sheath for easy resharpening anytime. The handle is textured for a better grip when wet. This knife should be the perfect compliment to my Gerber gut hook knife. October 4, 2013
