Grand Slam Braid Fishing Line 4.1 5 16 16
sensitive and easy knot tying Currently using this line fishing from the beaches near the sabastian inlet in florida. I fish with a 10 ft st croix surf rod and a penn slammer reel. the braid is a perfectly paired with my gear. it has great sensitivety and easy to tie strong knots. January 27, 2015
Preforms as advertised I have not caught a fish on the line so far, but that is my fault not the line. It has performed as advertised it has a good lay on my reel and has not twisted or knotted during casting or recovery. September 16, 2014
Thin and super strong Diameter is thin and has the power to fish in the thick stuff. First time fishing with braid line and I am pleased with the quality and performance of the line. I am confident that there is not a bass going to pop this line. September 3, 2014
smooth, long casting, good knot strength. I love this line! The line strength is as is the knot strength, the smooth casting gives you long distance, the color does fade a little bit but mine was so light it didnt matter anyhow, the one downfall is the spool size but I can easily get over that, I would definitely recommend this line. The best line This line is great. I use it all the time for cat fishing and trolling for large fresh water fish. It never has broken when I used it. Furthermore, I once pulled a tree stup out of the water and got alot of old lures. To be honest I would recoment this product to anyone who goes cat fishing and trolling for large fresh water fish. Worst Fishing Line This line broke 2 times within the first few hours of putting it on my pole. This is the worst line I have ever used. I will never buy it again!!! I deserve to get my money back for this because it cost me $11.00. Dick's should discontinue selling this item. July 9, 2014
Less expensive, but gets the job done Tried this fishing line because of price and it performed as good as some of the other expensive lines. I would recommend this product. June 17, 2014
Great line I use the 50 and 65 lbs for catfishing never had it break and very easy knotting no slips May 14, 2014
smooth as silk Easy Casting No Back Lash.....Only Down Side Is Small Yardage On Spool March 4, 2014
Uses beyond fishing - Archery Bowstrings! I have used this line to make several high performance bowstrings for traditional hunting bows. I have used it in place of traditional bowstring material and have found it superior in many ways. Tough and almost unbreakable, this braided Spectra line throws arrows with absolutely amazing velocity and accuracy. There is virtually no stretch in the material and it holds very well in a Flemish Twist style bowstring. Bottom Line - If you make your own bowstrings, you might want to consider Grand Slam braided Spectra instead of B50. More expensive but in my humble opinion, well worth it! February 9, 2014
