Rated 3 out of 5 by blue river canoe not bad but has weeknesses At point of purchase, the seat padding was peeling off. The staff was nice enough to take off $20 as it seemed all of the canoes had the same probelem. They brought it out and loaded it for me. When I got home and unloaded it, I realize the bottom looked like they had dragged it through a rock quary. Having read the online reviews prior to purchase, I drilled out the rivets holding on the backrest straps and replaced them with screws and washers. I have made one three day trip with it and it handled well. I have found an additional weak point as I loaded it after the trip, the seat back does not hold up tight in the folded position and it caught on the roof rack. the seat back broke at the hing point. I went to the hardware store and purchased a heavy duty hinge and bolted it onto the back and seat base, It rides a little higer now and seems solid. Over all it is a good concept for user comfort but it is cheeply built and needs some refining. If you work through the "cheep" parts and rebuild them, it is a nice canoe. June 6, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by BASShunter Not too bad So a buddy and I bought this to go bass fishing. This had a perfect setup for what we needed. it has plenty of room for two of us and all our gear to include: 4 fishing poles, two tackle boxes, cooler, motor and battery and anchor. the stability is very good in calm water. We have been in lakes and rivers in Northern Virginia. the canoe holds up very well and doesn't sit too low, even with three adults. my only complaint is the seat back are very cheap and riveted into hollow plastic. we have broken both seat backs within the first 3 uses. they were fixed with simple engineering. Over all 4/5 stars. This canoe is a little wide and hard to fit on top of sum vehicles, but fits perfect on top of my Chevy trailblazer with no problem. Takes two to put on top of vehicle if you don't want to damage her vehicle. September 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Keith Roomy and Comfortable Great canoe, I use it to fish the Flint River,Very stable even while standing up in.I'am used to renting Old Town canoes, Glad I chose this canoe over Old Town.It also handles the swift water well.Best canoe set up for fishing on the market.Paddle holders are awesome so are the fishing rod holders.Canoe is very roomy and wider than any of it's competitors.Do me a favor, go to Dick's and buy one today. Rated 1 out of 5 by John I returned this to the store after my Second use. My first trip in this 3 person canoe was by my self and it was enjoyable. My second trip was with a friend and my two dogs on a river with a lot of obstacles. Because both the front and back sit lower then the middle it is hard to turn. This also make it dangerous in any type of rapids because the front catches pushing the boat side ways and open to tipping. Brace for dead stops if you purchase this canoe. On an open lake with wind if you want to stay straight is the only way I would recommend it. June 19, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike Good Buy My two boys and myself took the canoe out this weekend. Had a lot of fun. Easy for one person to maneuver and plenty of room. Only drawback is the seats backrest do not fold below the top of the canoe. They catch when trying to slide forward or backward when loading May 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by JH Great We bought this canoe a few weeks ago and love it. We have a 13 month old who loves the water. This canoe is very stable and allows us to take her along. The middle seat has plenty of room for one of us and her and allows for plenty of movement while remaing very stable. It tracks very well in moving water. The only drawback is it can be a chore for one person to paddle and steer with 3 people on board. April 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by derks great boat weak seat design i was very surprised to not being able to find any reviews on this boat but i took a chance and bought it anyway. I have only taken it out once on the river. The canoe it slef is great very stable on the water and tracks geat the boat turns on a dime very easy to control. The hull seems very strong and was constructed well. The canoe has the ability for many types of trips be it just paddling in the lake with family or friends or fishing or crusing down a moving river. The paddle holders are great and well made along with the fishing rod holders. The dry box and live well/cooler is a nice addition. The only problem i have with the canoe is the seats they are very comfortable but poorly made the back hinge system is flimsy pastic and the staps that hold the seat up are riveted in the plastic bottom seat very weak design the rivets came out on the front seat the first hour on the river i would hope F and S could come up with a better design than that seems like a very lazy design but all in all the boat is great you just might have to make your seat straps stronger April 3, 2013
