Rated 5 out of 5 by Great This is my first pair of hiking shoes Light weight and comfortable July 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice I wore these shoes for the first time last weekend. Very comfortable and lightweight. I usually wear a size 8 but went up to an 8 1/2 to accomodate heavier socks and they fit well. Would have given them 5 stars if not for the fact that Merrell did away with the elastic lace cord and lock system on their women's hikers. I got so used to that on my old Merrells....less bulky and faster. Don't know why they have it on the men's hikers and not the women's. Better colors in men's too. Sounds like a rant coming on! Overall good quality and comfort. October 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Favorite all around hiking shoe This purchase is the updated version of my last purchase, literally, same style and color with some enhancements. With everyday use, and wear and tear I needed to get a new pair. The front toe cover was peeling off and the sides were getting shredded. I am not hard on my shoes, may have been a fluke. The manager at the AZ - Happy Valley location was great! Kudos for making the replacement 'easy peasey'. Other stores should take a page from this book. My size not available, the associate ordered for me online and shipped to my house - 8 days. This shoe, like most, take a couple of days to break in. I typical put a shoe stretcher when not in use and will add inserts to fit my foot. Merrell is a trusted brand and my go to for hiking, walking shoes. February 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is really well made. Great shoe but the sizing is way off, they run really small, I wear an eight womens, but ordered an eight and a half and it was still too small, so had to go to the store and get a 9!! I have never bought a 9 in my life, and most of the time eights were big, what is with the sizing, I don't know. The shoe is great looking and well made, very comfortable. November 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best shoes I have ever had This is the second pair of these shoes I have purchased. The first pair lasted me 6 years. They fit great, are long lasting and quite possibly the best shoes ever made. April 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable from day 1 What I love about the Merrells I've purchased is the comfort. No need to break them in. Haven't tried them out on a hike yet but am happy with the purchase. December 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable hiking boots I love these boots. Immediately upon putting them on, they were comfortable. July 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by These hiking shoes are great! Bought these shoes for a two week trip to six national parks this summer. Have been wearing them on short walks to break them in. Didn't need to be broken in.....they are comfortable and give me the support I need. Did have to order up a whole size to get boots that were that comfortable and fit properly. So far, so good.....will see what happens on vacation. July 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Siren Sport 2 This shoe in comparison to Merrell's other MOAB type shoe is terrible. The support is terrible in side. The tongue on the shoe is not made well and you cannot get solid support when tying the shoe on your feet. The insole does not have the feature of pronation, supination on it which is essential for a hiking shoe. It is down right hard. I returned this shoe and would never recommend it to anyone. I would direct them to MOAB model which is really a good supportive shoe and proper insole. August 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by dependable and lightweight After a day or two to break in, these are comfortable as a pair of socks. For anyone with slightly narrow feet, the support in these shoes is a huge relief to find. This is my fourth or fifth pair. I buy a new pair every two years. These will survive two years of city life (including reasonable winter snow and ice), and then another year or two on my urban farm. June 29, 2015
