new hex warbird golf balls took me a few rounds to get use to them but the hex warbird golf balls are really forgiving and have much more distance. great product May 28, 2013
Good all around ball. I am new to the game, and went out for my first game last weekend. I spent five months at the range developing my swing(still a work in progress). I didn't know what kind of ball I should be playing but purchased these on a recommendation. I also bought some Noodles (long and soft, and easy distance) based on the packaging claims for greater distance. The Noodles were great off the tee, true to the claims, but I quickly noticed how they would take a high unpredictable bounce when they landed. Didn't feel any control. I switched to the warbirds and found my ball. They are good off the tee. Didn't seem much shorter than the Noodles. I battle a slice, these seemed to give me a nice fade towards my target. They landed with a small bounce, and just rolled on a bit. Even for a beginner I felt the control around the greens. Don't know much about the different "feel" and sound but they did feel a bit harder, with more of a "click" sound off them. Could just be compared to the super soft Noodles though. 4 stars because of lack of experience with other products. May 18, 2013
