So far I am happy with the bike, have had to do some fine tuning which is to be expected. I bought it on sale and got a bargain! service was excellent, quick and professional! I have been looking for a bike for awhile and glad that I bought this bike! I love riding it and find myself looking forward to working those ratchet shifters, front shock and Kevlar tires! bike has excellent look and feel and is very clean looking! I would recommend the caliper brakes so you can lock them wheels up, mine has disks which work well and may work better as they break in. I just like to lock up that wheel and slide!

Love this bike. Had just returned a different brand to Dicks in Harrisburg Pa. I love this store, no hassle return sold me a better bike at a great price. Made sure everything was adjusted properly. I have had zero problems with this bike. Highly recommend the bike and this store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by not a fan of DB Problems the store could not fix
We bought this bike in April of 2013, by the beginning of September it had been back to the store 7 times for repairs. 5 times for trouble with the gears, once for a flat tire, and once for the pedals coming off.

Have been very satisfied with this bike so far. Have no complaints with exception of seat, which has to be one of the most uncomfortable I have ever had misfortune of sitting on.

Ours son's bike was stolen so we spent the day at 4 bike shops looking to replace his bike. This bike from dicks was the best value for the feature set but features and price don't matter if the quality isn't there. He was excited when we got to go ride but after a few laps around the neighborhood with his buddies he came back dejected. He felt noticably slower on this bike than his old Giant. I took it for a ride thinking it was in his head but it just felt like it was dragging along. When checking things over noticed the rear cassete was wobling big time. We called and the nice people at Dicks said go ahead and bring it back.

I have had this for some time probably put about 500 xc single track miles on it... It is a nice bike.
I did upgrade a few things...and will upgrade a few more...The type of riding I do is mainly single track...So I upgraded to an 8speed...Had to change out the shifters however the rear derailuer works fine...I went with avid single digit speed brake levers that i found on sale... I will be putting a 180mm front brake on as i over heat the stock brakes (avid bb7, and avid bb7 160mm rear brake) I have already put on a rockshox fork...I went with wtb laser disc rims with with a alivio 8 speed cassette hub, I will keep the old rims and put a 8speed freewheel cassette on them and put on street type tires for paved use...
I did away with the kendtra tires as these have started to show wear and would not bite like I wanted...put on wtb weirwolf and both front and back and in dry conditions this works great...may need a rear velociraptor by wtb if in wet condtions.
Bottom line this is a great bike...The upgrades i did were for my preference...The bike did work good for the first 500 miles but as i started to push the limits of the bike I felt it best to make some upgrades...The first thing I would do as a new person in the sport with this bike is upgrade to bb7 of comparable brakes...the stock brakes do not have good reviews and will start to fade relatively quickly if you ride like xc...
