Old Town Trip 10 Angler Deluxe Kayak
All Around Kayak
I purchase this exact kayak (tan color) in 2011 and use it very often. It's very sturdy, so if you are leaning over to grab a fish or if there are some wakes it stays very stable. The cockpit area has a lot of room. I'm 6'4" 230 and can even bring one of my kids (5 and 7) in it with me with plenty of room to spare. The airtight storage area is also great! I would not recommend buying one with out it. It's very nice to have that storage area and not have to worry about things getting wet in it. I have friends that are much more into kayaking and they wish they purchased this one. It's just a great overall kayak.

Exactly what I have been looking for! Took it out twice the first day I got it-Mothers Day!! Best mom's day gift ever!!! Plenty of room for me and my kiddo to go out together...Super stable, comfy seat for a few hours, easy in and out, dry well, two pole holders, plenty of bungee's on deck, and a 1.5# anchor. I upgraded to a pyramid 15# but otherwise have no current plans to add or change anything.

Love this kayak so much I bought another one
This is my 1st kayak. I wanted to find a way to mix the 2 things I love to do, fish and kayaking. After a lot of research I went with the Old Town Angler 10. I loved it from the 1st time I took it out. Very roomy and easy to handle with good storage. It moves well through the water and also has the stablity you need when fishing. I liked it so much I went out and bought another one for my boys to use. I have a 2011 Outback so I bought the basic Thule kayak racks. They work well and I am able to get the kayaks on and of the car by myself. I highly recommend this kayak.

I recently purchased this kayak after making the switch from canoeing. I am a large man 6 foot 4 and 290lbs and I have no problem getting in or out of the big cock pit. I also have size 15 shoes and don't have a problem fitting them inside. Overall this kayak handles good on the water and appears to be very stable. The dry hold area seems to be as watertite as they claim it to be. Old town is known for their craftsmanship. I would strongly suggest purchasing this kayak if your on the fence. You wont be disappointed.

this kayak is well built
I purchase this kayak in Raleigh NC, it is black cherry in color. this kayak is the same as the vapor, but with a different hatch. I love this kayak a lot, will buy another one. I also had a vapor, so I knew this was a great kayak, I just love the black cherry, it catch everybody eyes. this thing is stable and does great in the lake and river.

Up dated from first purchased kayak.Just for fun (but appreciate fishing option). Over six feet tall and have no problem entering or exiting. Handles great and rides well on water. Easily handles lakes and rivers. Recommend this one for fun and relaxing cruises

Great kayak at a great price, especially with all the features, However Dicks website says country of origin imported, it is not, it is made in the good old U.S. of A.

Love this little boat. Roomy, stable, agile. Rear storage is so much better then it's sister the Vapor...although it looks like the rear hatch has been redesigned. Mine was old stock 2011.Throw out a drag line,,and you can go anyplace the bigger kayaks go.
