Rated 5 out of 5 by Triple BBB Great Product Great Price I was looking to upgrade my Reflex Grizzly and came across the Diamond Core RAK at Dicks. I also found it at the Field and Stream Store. I was looking for a light weight bow and this fits the bill. I purchased mine at the store and set it up myself. Had it zero in in minutes. The Quality of this bow is very nice, I would highly recommend it to any archer. I really like the adjustability of this bow as I had a bad shoulder and needed to work my way back to full draw weight. I have changed the sight and arrow rest just because of my preference. This bow is plenty fast and quiet. It should come with a warning not to shot at shorter than 40 yards as you will be buying arrows by the dozen keep hitting them :). I can shoot this out to 60 yards with a 3-4 inch pattern. If you are thinking about this bow go ahead and buy! October 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tdawg Awesome Bow! Bought this bow three hours ago off the rack. After reading reviews, I didn't even try to shoot it before I replaced the arrow rest and sights with a trophy ridge sight and a whisker biscuit. Eyeballed alignment for tonight. First two shots at ten yards were touching. Next two shots at twenty-five, 1/8 of an inch apart. Fast, quiet, accurate, and I'm sure will prove deadly next week! September 1, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by ab great bow, bad accessories Bought the bow after using 23 year old bow as first experience. Felt good in my hands. Original rest felt wore away after 16 arrows and sight could not be adjusted to left unless adding shims behind. After reading reviews online others have had this problem and seems like the shims are the only way to adjust. I would give bow 4 stars but the sight and rest a 1. After replacing rest with wisker biscuit definately improved look forward to new sight. September 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by ovrwatch diamond core compound bow They say this is a Ready Aim Kill (RAK) bow. I don't shoot 73lb draw and neither does anybody else I know that hunts. So first thing was to reduced the draw weight to 60lbs. This obviously made the sights off so I had to adjust those as well. Also the draw length comes at 29 I am a 28 so I adjusted that as well. All in all the adjustments were easy and fast so all of this wasn't to big a deal. So now that all the adjustments that were needed are out of the way time to shoot it! First shot I was a little taken back by how loud the string stop and string slap to the stop was. You can still hunt with it don't get me wrong, it's just a little loud for my tastes. Draw was smooth as well as the break over. The break over took it from 60lbs to 23lbs so that's almost a 60% let-off. The bow grouped well with no adjustments needed left or right. At 20 yards 2 of the 3 arrows were touching with only the width of an arrow between the 2 other arrows and the third one. The Octane products are on the lower end but that's to be expected to keep the price under $500. All in all this is a nice bow, I wont be giving up my Fred Bear for this one but my daughter is already asking me for it once she can pull it back. January 4, 2014
