Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice, roomy daypack! Got this to replace my old REI Lookout pack (40L). Love the extra room those added 4 liters provide. Carry my first aid kit, emergency blanket and bivy, storm pants and wind jacket along with whatever gear and food I'm bringing for the day. Inside pocket holds my 3L water bladder nicely. Love the organizer pockets in the outer compartment! Only thing missing is a pocket or two on the hip belt, miss that... August 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent full-featured product This backpack is, first and foremost, a high quality backpack with a load bearing hip belt (not just a puny waist strap), shoulder straps and a sternum strap with everything fully adjustable. Included were helpful instructions about fitting the backpack to your frame and loading guidelines. My initial test included most of the below except a full sized laptop in a carrying case in lieu of the netbook and loaded to about 30 pounds. I use it for daily commuting including a 2.25 mile walk home after work comfortably carrying 20 - 25 pounds. This includes a poncho, rain suit and fanny pack for use during the day, rain coat for the backpack, a fairly large lunch pack, a change of shoes and socks, a netbook in a carrying case, a security lock for the netbook, various electronic parts (mouse, chargers, cables, etc.), a jacket (packed instead of worn on the trip home) plus everything I used to carry in my pockets (wallet, keys, change, etc.) - and everything fits inside the backpack - easily large enough to get the job done! Plus, conveniently, there is a fairly large zippered, top pocket where I keep items that need fast and easy access. June 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Backpack I have now taken this backpack hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing, and it has not let me down! Fully loaded the pack is very comfortable, with the waist belt taking the weight of my back. The pack is spacious enough for warm whether weekend trips and winter day hikes, but definitely not big enough for a weekend in the winter. This isn't a complaint, just feedback: I didn't buy this as a winter weekend pack. My favorite attribute is how the entire compartment can be zipped open, giving access to literally everything in your pack. Very convenient when you need something at the bottom of your pack and don't have to take everything out to reach it. The closed water bottle pockets are nice, although I mostly use a 2-liter hydration bladder, which fits perfectly in the hydration pocket. The pack is tough, and I look forward to using it for many many years to come. March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value I have really enjoyed the Kelly backpack. I actually purchased a second one for my best friend. The backpack is very lightweight and comfortable. I would highly recommend it. February 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Backpack I am former military and use many different packs on my trips into the Cascade mountains. I use this pack for 3-5 day trips. On the side pockets I place my mre's and pocket rocket stove. In the main pack area I have kelty tent and a compressed sleeping bag and the rest of my equipment which totals 40 lbs. With the "ibeam" support it places all of the weight on your hips which makes the pack feel like 20 lbs (half of the actual weight). Great pack and it is a Kelty! March 19, 2015

Amazing comfort and I've used it on 3 night hikes never felt weird , easy to adjust and can even comfortably ride my mountain bike w it July 15, 2014
