I went to Dicks today looking for irons. I grabbed these and headed into the simulator. My first swing was rough but everyone after that was what I wanted in an iron. Soft feel and easy workability. I hit a 7 iron at an average of 170 yards with these. With my old irons I would hit a 7 iron about 155 yards. I was so satisfied that I bought them. Can't say enough good things about these irons!

A bit about me... I've been playing golf for about 10 years. I recently purchased this set as a long overdue upgrade to the starter set irons I had (Acuity brand). I don't have a handicap, but I was shooting anywhere from +4 to +14 over with the old set of clubs I have. With three rounds in, I can tell you a LOT about these clubs.
The distance with these clubs is very consistent and markedly farther than my old set. Where I was hitting a 7i about 150-160 yards before, I'm getting a consistent 155-165 yards with these clubs, and with noticeably HIGHER ball flight. My biggest issue has always been approach shots to the green... The high ball flight keeps more shots on the green and fewer shots from rolling off the back.
The forgiveness is also exceptional. Almost all of my mishits get the distance it was meant to originally, and (say I'm approaching a green from 150 out), I'm only missing the green by about 3 or 4 yards of one end, instead of 10+ yards with my old set. The "sweet spot" on these clubs is a lot bigger compared to the other clubs.
I'll say this one more time - the consistency of these clubs is nothing short of AMAZING. I may not be a pro or an amateur with 30+ years playing experience, but I've been playing consistently through high school and college to know that these were a very good investment. I have yet to shoot above 80 with these clubs since I've started using them, and I know myself I have a lot of room to improve (with my putting at this point), but just from getting markedly more birdie opportunities, distance control and predictable shot placement, these clubs will be worth every penny to you if you take your game as serious as I do.

I wasn't sure what type of Irons to purchase when I started looking. The Taylormade Irons were recommended to me at the store. These were my first new Irons purchased. When I went to the course and used them for the first time, I could tell when I hit a great shot just by the feel of contact to the ball. The softness of contact on the ball lets you know when you make a good stroke. Great feel on the hands. Helped my distance also.

Just got these today and I can't wait to get to the course. Hit about 50 balls on the simulator and was hitting it clean and far. 8-PW lofts are a little weaker (1*) but should only be a minimal differance in distance. I did not even plan on picking these clubs up ( had a set of TM tour prefered CB irons ) but I was so impressed with the performance of the rocketbladez tour irons I had to trade UP!! Plus I prefer the KBS 90 tour shaft, a little heavier and more balanced for my swing. Put some new Golf Pride multicompound whiteout/green standard grips with 2 wraps of tape. Clubs look fantastic!! Reminds me a little of the Titalist AP2 irons. Check out the rocketbladez tour irons! A little on the expensive side but you won't be disappointed if you are a Taylormade guy!!

Just purchase these clubs today and could not wait to hit them. I reached into my shag bag and grab about 10 balls out and started hitting away. To my surprise the distance was much longer with these clubs and the accuracy was on the money, except for a few mishits. Now I can't wait until the spring to really get out there and play. I think I'll head on down to Myrtle Beach and play.
