Just wanted to follow up and say these boots are still the best hiking boots ive owned. Its been almost half a year now of regular, everyday wear. I wear them around the house, construction projects, hiking, hunting, and anything in between. Still holding up great and have eliminated back/foot paint i used to have doing the same tasks. We've had a large amount of snow this winter and theyve remained waterproof. Probably wouldnt hurt to throw a coat of mink oil on them every now and then to keep the leather nice. Love the arches in these boots and the wide toe box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dmp Fit my particular foot better than others..
I needed a new set of boots for PA bear season. Anyone thats participated on drives through the mountains in PA while looking for bear knows that a pretty tough boot is needed. We put in a few miles a day on mountain sides and these boots held up pretty well. However, the strong point, in my opinion, was the actual fit of the boot. Narrow heel, higher arch, and wider toe box. This fit my foot/arch/ankle/toes perfectly! I tried on a few pairs of Merrels and the toe boxes were too tight. Last season, i had many knee and back issues that were non existent this year. Im more comfortable in these boots than i am walking around bare foot. No break in was needed and i purchased these a few days before hitting the mountains. Even if durability is sub-par, the price was worth it for one pain-free hunt. Ill post another review after wearing these boots for some mileage.
